3 words.... DONT DO IT! Never ever been one to write reviews however if i could give negative stars I would. The agent and his broker gave me absolute hell in renting a house through them. I will highly recommend no one goes through this agency as they are crooks and so rude. I attempted to rent through them multiple times and they kept all my application fees along (even though they were screening others) which might I add is ILLEGAL! Please do yourself a favor and never rent from them. Also to add I had 2 other property management companies tell me to steer clear of Call Realty for this exact reason as they hear awful things from their tenants... This is one of the least honest businesses I have ever had the displeasure of working with in my life. Any problems with the house take WEEKS to get fixed, leaving us without a working refrigerator for 3 weeks. We get charged for items that were damaged and never repaired when we moved in. They're completely unresponsive and won't even entertain the thought of answering a phone on a weekend, even if that means no power or no plumbing for days at a time. Due to their inactivity, I ended up fixing a number of items in the home, at my own cost and they wouldn't even consider crediting our account. Coincidentally, the charges they levied against us when we moved out were almost exactly the same as our deposit. We owe $3.00. This is a total clown show operation. If you own property and are looking for someone to manage it - stay away! If you're looking to rent, look elsewhere if you see their signs. read more

My husband and I rented from this company for 3 years. It was a renter to owner relationship as it was a condo. This company takes days to respond to any maintenance request even if it's as serious as a break in which they didn't fix the broken window properly at all and left it for 3 days with just a board and 3 nails and some duck tape around the window. Pretty sure that was illegal cause we were on the bottom floor and anyone could've ripped it off and came in. From then on since my husband wasn't home when this happened I never felt comfortable being alone when maintenance came by just in case something was done wrong. This company will also suck you dry financially and not care. My husband and I paid over $1000 in deposit when it was only supposed to be $600 because I was a roommate since we werent married yet and after being kicked out of our condo because owner wanted to sale we deep cleaned that place and they didn't even give us half our deposit. i wouldnt recommend renting from this company to my worst enemy. They also will not communicate with you and also so unprofessional with things. I will take the night they fixed the guest window with me the rest of my life because of how they handled it. Also it's good to mention that when the landlord did a walk through a few months ago she had no idea of how they fixed it. We had to tell her. read more

This company does not care about you or your family. They charge an absurd amount in cleaning fees, takes a very long time to repair or do any maintenance and are impossible to get ahold of. I feel bad for anyone who has to go through this rental agency because in this housing market we are left with few options. This company happily takes advantage of our disadvantages. read more

Call Realty rented us an old house that was in disrepair 'as is'. We lived there 3 years always payed rent early not a single late payment. The yard was overgrown with dead weeds every door didnt close including front screen door which was hanging off the hinges because the holes were stripped. The hood over the stove had been partially sanded and was badly rusted, no power to the detached garage, deep grime on kitchen counter wall bricks, a broken gate etc. I could go on and on but that should give you the picture. I fixed everything, even got a new stove and hood which I did not charge them for because of the length of tenancy. Kept lawn green and edged and trimmed. When we moved out the place was much cleaner and in way better shape than on move in. They kept my whole deposit and even billed me an additional 33 dollars for cleaning and lawn service and included a 75.00 coordination fee! The address was 1024 east Queen. I urge you to talk to the neighbors to verify what I am telling you. I felt as if they slapped me when I got that bill. I guess if you don't care about getting your deposit back then it doesn't matter if you rent from them but they are as crooked as they come. read more

Working with Call Realty was the most stressful and unpleasant experience thus far. They were not responsive, not honest, and not timely. My good friends and I wanted to rent a lovely property and unfortunately, Call Realty was the property management company to go through. From the beginning, they did not treat us like professionals or adults. We had co-signers work with us, and Call Realty lost sensitive information multiple times. They took at least a day to respond to each email and would not give us a lease agreement after requesting it multiple times because "they were working on it." We paid all the required application fees, co-signer fees, and holding fee. They charged us more on our deposit, simply because we are "students and have less income", even though we had co-signers backing us. We called them out and referred to the RCW. There were multiple times when our words were twisted. This experience was unpleasant, and when we called them out for being unprofessional, they stated they were moving forward with another applicant, refunded the fees all without a proper explanation. It did not seem like they wanted to work with us at all! We loved the house and wanted this to work out. The only obstacle was Call Realty. read more

Been great to rent from. Most professional rentals company by far. I've had some nightmares - even here in Spokane. Right from the start they had their stuff together and had never an issue and I'm not the easiest person to deal with. Would definitely use them again or recommend them. CALL Realty managed my property from 2013 until April, 2020 when I sold my house, and they did a superb job the entire time. Their vetting process of tenants is excellent. All my tenants were highly responsible people who took good care of the property and paid their rent on time. CALL Realty moved quickly to have repairs done by reputable contractors, so both the renters and I were pleased by this. Any questions at all that I had related to the property were answered promptly. Documents needed for tax filing purposes were prepared and sent to me in good time. When there is a concern, such as the washer not working, we are called immediately and advised on the next step. They are respectful of our budget while maintaing our home. After you move in you will never hear from the property manager through the entirety of your lease. Then when you move out you are responsible for paying out of pocket for carpet cleaning which has to be companies they only work with. You also have to pay for the blinds to be professionally cleaned. It cost us 386.00 to move out! Then they will find anything and everything they can charge you for even dog poop! From stray dogs. There were multiple things broken when we moved in which they are charging us for now! Even items in the yard that were there before we moved in such as a box of wood! If you choose to rent from make sure you take pictures of everything including the yard! And if there is snow when you move out you are still required to clean up the pine needles beneath the snow! And yes I'm being serious! read more

Absolute worst company I have ever had to work with! Basement had 3 inches of standing water and it took them 3 months to get someone out to clean it up. Dishwasher broke and that also took 3 months to get someone to come out. Ceiling fan took 2 years to get someone out! Good luck getting a hold of any broker there, you can leave voicemail after voicemail and get no reply. The most frustrating company to deal with. I had to make a threat of filing with the better business bureau just to get an email out of them! Be weary of any house they lease. read more

Just experienced a disappointing interaction with Call Realty - In response to multiple emails with questions about a property, I received only automated replies that did not answer any of my questions. Furthermore, I was required to confirm the time and date of a showing multiple times - while working, I missed one confirmation and the realtor cancelled the showing a mere 30 minutes before we were supposed to meet! It was very unprofessional and I am dissatisfied. Call Realty, you've lost yourself a client. read more

Don't rent from Call Realty. They don't follow tenant laws. They will do as many inspections in 6 months as they want and charge you if not present. They will take most or all your deposit even when the place was cleaner from when you moved in. I have passed every inspection when I moved out and got my full deposit returned from numerous landlords. They won't do the vacancy or move in inspections with you. You either get the keys or turn them into the office. A dangerous tenant moved in according to their policy they were to evict the tenant. Yet I was the victim and had to move out and was told by the 1st week of the last month they needed to know when I turn in my keys etc. I paid rent for that whole month and felt they couldn't wait to get rid of me when I did nothing to provoke this bad behavior of this other tenant. The apartment was filthy when I moved in, damage to every surface. People that work in the office are rude and extremely unfriendly. Don't expect your deposit back, they will find a way keep it. No integrity amongst anyone that works for them. Still trying to figure out how they are an "award winning " company. I don't recommend renting anything they own. read more

I left my home immaculate, I am a professional house cleaner and so I cleaned the lights, baseboards, all drawers and cabinets, I re painted the interior and I paid a carpet cleaner. Light fixtures, heaters etc were all removed and cleaned. Unfortunately Call Realty still managed to hire yet another carpet cleaner, AND a house cleaner! I took pictures of my home when I left and I will hold them accountable for the careless spending on my deposit. Also its been nearly three months and i still haven't received my deposit, or a deduction receipt. I would NOT recommend renting from Call reality otherwise just plan on cleaning everything tirelessly and still getting ripped off. I would also NOT recommend using them as your property manager, because they will cause law suits when clients start fighting back for their careless deposit spending. Awful awful company! I just moved into the state and will make sure to tell anyone looking for a new place to avoid Call Realty. My husband and I moved here from out of state so I started the application back home in California. Everything seemed to be going great and I forwarded proof of income and identity. They said they would get back to me within a few days. I called the next week and they still had no reply from their background check. By the next week we had moved and found a place on our own. It was 3-4 weeks after my first contact with them that they even called to say that we could proceed with looking for a home. So we lost the fees associated with their application which is probably the scam they were running to begin with. read more

Be cautious when doing business with Call. The office staff is very friendly and seems accommodating but ignores requests for repairs or problems. Fortunately we have a working relationship with the owner of this property. We own a rental property in western Washington, and Call Realty is an example of why we manage that property ourselves. I also wasn't impressed by Call Realty. My husband and I rented a property of theirs in Liberty Lake from October, 2011 to February, 2013. The house was nice on the outside and the neighborhood is terrific but inside the house was dirty with dead flies in the master bedroom tub and dead bugs in light fixtures. This and more was never cleaned out by them before we moved in even though we were told the house would get a thorough, professional cleaning before we moved in. Call Realty should hire new cleaners, hopefully they have, because which ever company was doing this for them was ripping them off. We were told that the carpet was professionally cleaned before we moved in and of course since we have pets, we were expected to do this once we moved out, which we did. The carpet cleaner told us he pulled out several old stains from the cheap carpet in the finished basement which tells me the owners DIDN'T have the carpets cleaned before we moved in so here's another thing they lied to us about. We had several things go wrong with the rental house once we moved in, for example, the light in the dining room stopped working, the light in the pantry stopped working, the microwave stopped working, and the dishwasher kept leaking water. My husband ended up fixing the light in the dining room himself because no one from Call Realty contacted us after I filled in their on-line request form. The light in the pantry was eventually fixed and the owners purchased a new microwave and dishwasher after we didn't have a dishwasher for about three weeks due to their slowwwwwwwww response to our requests to have these things taken care of. Needless to say, Heath is a nice guy to deal with, I'm sure having to deal with pain in the ass owners and demanding tenants is tough, but he was always professional. Also, Health only did a walk-through of the home one time the whole time we lived there, so once again, they lie when they claim to do several walk-throughs for the owners benefit. He had to broker us leaving the rental early due to the owners requesting to come back to their home early from Montana due to a job loss, at least that's what the owners claimed. The owners still owe us a weeks worth of rent since we vacated the property early for their benefit; basically the owners are cheap and refuse to live up totally to what they promised my husband and I but that's not Call Realty's fault. Thank goodness my hubbie and I did a very thorough walk-through before we moved in and noted EVERYTHING that we found wrong with the house/property before we moved in because I'm sure Call Realty would have tried to stick it to us on many things that the final walk-through employee noted. In the end, I would probably do business again with Call Realty but only if I absolutely had to and I would again make sure to document everything to cover my butt and hopefully the property owners would be honest and easier to deal with if things went wrong for a change. read more

This was absolutely the worst renters experience i have ever had. Lived in one of there homes for 1 year and wouldn't recommend this place to scrape shit off shoes. They have no problem taking your money and running. That is all this company ever wanted, kept asking for more and more with next to no reason as to why. Upon moving out they claimed tons of damages were us, which yes some were and we took responsibility for. But the vast majority of them they documented as needing replaced, and yet still managed to scrap together over $450 worth of bogus charges. What a horrible group of people to deal with. Do not let Call Realty manage your property. As a homeowner who allowed Call Realty to rent my property, I would not recommend them to anyone. Directions are not followed and questionable fees are added. My experiment with Call Realty was costly. I lost thousands of dollars not to mention thier Monthly precentage. No I was turned down again for getting into a house, the realtor that was suppose to show me the house I was interested in called 07/21/16 and told me and my daughter no we didn't get it, I asked why he said for me to call Fast track the person who ran my credit, so I called there Fast track who does credit checks, and they told me that they haven't did ran my credit yet, so I called the call realtor place back and told them what fast track said and they hung up on me and Fast Track said to report them, and they said I have the right to get the report so they will send that to me. When I had Fast track on the phone they told me they were very confused, about Call Reality. The Fast Track told me the part they do have on me was good, they just wasn't finished running the report. They do not under stand how call reality can tell me no when the credit report wasn't done. So I am going to tell everyone who lives in Spokane Washington do not go to call Reality. I am going to report this company as much as I can. So me and my family are still homeless. and it sucks. Now that I know what I know, I will never trust realtors again, and it cost 80 dollars to get told no again. Keep me and me family in your prayers. Freaking AWFUL! My husband and I were trying to view a home in Millwood. He argued with TWO people to try to schedule a showing. They demanded that we do a "drive by" before they would schedule a showing. I grew up in Millwood. I know the area. We are currently less than 12 blocks from the house. He stated we could drive by it shortly but could we schedule a showing and they told us NO. I won't be working with them any time soon. read more

Not only have they over charged us for a month and then said they would credit us (Which they have not yet) They show up to our rental and say that they called or emailed us 48 hours ago but we never recieved a call or email from them and asked if they can inspect the property. Also we have had horrible issues with the electrical and have had to call the fire department to come look at the house and never recieved a call back or anything. Finally the last straw was when water was coming through our smoke detectors and they were all going off in our rental. we gave them a call and they told us that someone will be calling us within an hour. 6 hours later and two phone calls to them we get a call saying that they will come in 5 days and to keep the AC off. Meanwhile our detectors keep going off randomly. Told them that we will go stay elsewhere and didnt seem concerned at all about the property. read more

I am very disappointed in the way they conducted the rental process. After viewing a home and explaining our credit situation, we were told we'd have to provide a larger deposit but that we could be approved. I completed the application online and the question that asked if we had ever been evicted or left owing money I checked No and provided an explanation as to why I said No. None of the explanation came through on the application and $120 later (fee for me, my husband, and our son) we were denied because we had an "eviction" on our history. It is an automatic fail. While I understand having a standard of doing business, I do not understand insisting that someone use an online process that randomly drops information. I sent a lengthy email asking them to reconsider our situation, providing a detailed explanation of the circumstances, and if they wouldn't rent to us to at least provide a refund of some of the $120 fee. It's now been almost a month and the only thing I heard from them was a letter mailed denying my application. They have never responded to my email. In my mind, this is not an ethical way of doing business - forcing someone to use an online process and then accepting no responsibility for the online portal failure. Lived in a house managed by Call Realty for almost 3 years. I will say while living there things were pretty good. I did find it funny that if you put in a work order all of a sudden a "walk thru" is needed. The problem didn't start until moving out. Don't expect your deposit back in any hurry, even though state law requires it be returned in 14 days, Call Realty has a little loop hole were they send a letter telling you what their plans are with the deposit. As of 40 days later I have yet to receive my deposit. And they will find everything and anything to eat up all your deposit. When I moved in there was dirt and dust in drawers, vents and counters, toilets and baths were less than perfect, grass was full of weeds and brown . But this was no worry as we always clean these areas no matter the condition. When I moved out, I made sure and spent two days cleaning top to bottom, rather than call one of their recommended cleaning people that quoted me 30/hr. However, a cleaning team was still called because of dust behind fridge, (which I cleaned) and in air vents on ceiling, along with a couple of trivial things. I have made over 25 calls and attempts to see the status of my deposit, 90% of the time no one answers, and despite leaving numerous messages no phone calls back. I was able to speak with one person 3 weeks ago, who said he would look it over and call me back, which never happened. No matter how Pam spins it below, this is not good business practice. read more
