Absolutely delicious meal and charmingly, classy experience that could be at least a Michelin Bib Gourmand. We ordered their 4 course prix fixe special for only 28 Euros and it was amazing.
First of all they gave us a complimentary appetizer to start which was very generous slice of toast with a jammy like spread and a whole cane of fuel (Spanish cured salame).
Then came an additional appetizer that we ordered not knowing it was going to be so much food. We had the Maite croquettes which came in 6 good sized bites of crispy panko like fried croquettes with mixture of potato with beef, pork and chicken.
We then got the first course. We tried both the deviled eggs and the creamy chicken soup. Both were very good.
Next we both had the Fisherman style linguine and it was excellent. Pasta was firm but cooked just right and the sauce was full of flavor.
For the main we had both the Iberian pork tenderloin in a Porto sauce and the hake steamed fish. I preferred the taste and texture of the fish but both were good.
For dessert, we had both a creamy vanilla custard with cinnamon and coffee and a vanilla ice cream with a dollop of whipped cream.
We thought that was the end but then our nice server brought us an unexpected finishing plate of gummy candies and two+ glasses of Baileys!
We were blown away by the value and generosity. The garden patio was very charming but the interior was also very elegant with white table cloths and good space between tables, perfect for quiet intimate conversations.
There was wonderful attention to detail in all aspects. And don't be in a hurry...enjoy the evening as it takes at least 2 hours. One of our best meals in Spain. Michelin Big Gourmand worthy at least read more
