Our waiter was friendly and spoke great English, brought out pan con tomate to start followed by the first paella listed on the menu (recommended by our waiter) and the squid ink. Both were phenomenal, and we were able to see the paella being made! This was a great way to end the day, and the restaurant is right on the beach- perfect for a night stroll.

We were a party of 4 so without asking they put 2 tables together. We were thirsty so they brought us our drinks pretty quickly. The waiter had no English and the head guy only had some. He came out and with virtually no Spanish we explained that one in out party was a vegetarian and we wanted tapas. He said he would pick for us and I gave the thumbs up. They brought out olives, a tomatoes and goat cheeses salad, chips and guacamole, cheese pizza, olives and boneless sardines, toast with cheese and bushutto, potatoes and cheese, toast jam and cheese, and a had brownish and cheese dish. Needless to say we were swamped with food and they only charged 25 euros. It was all good except the sardines were really salty. The potatoes with cheese isn't something I'd order again. Everything else I'd definitely order again. The only downside is it's a dog friendly park so there are flies. Also they don't take credit cards.

My husband and I stumbled upon this wonderful hidden gem on the last night of a 2 week trip to…read moreSpain. We were staying at an awful nearby airport hotel (that shall remain unnamed but is in walking distance!) due to an early a.m. flight back to the States and very grumpy. The thought of eating dinner at the hotel was stomach-turning and with a quick search on google maps we found Ona Nuit. This adorable restaurant is located in what I would call an industrial neighborhood however it could easily be transported to Los Angeles and fit right in. They specialize in "Km.0" or slow food with an emphasis on local ingredients. We chose the seasonal tasting menu, everything we had was fresh and delicious! It was priced reasonably at around 30 Euro/pp. Only thing I would mention is that unless you are staying by the airport this restaurant is a trek from central Barcelona; also if you are strictly English speaking you may have some slight difficulty ordering (there is an English menu) but the staff was very gracious even with our broken Spanish! It was a perfect ending to our trip. Thank you!

Limited menu but everything done perfectly and amazing flavor with all dishes. We ended up sharing about 7-8 dishes (4 of us, 2 teens/2 adults) and everything was amazing. This was our best meal in Spain (from a week in Barcelona, San Sebastián, and Bilbao).

Food. Service. Ambiance. Yes. Yes. Yes…read more The first night we went without a reservation but they managed to accommodate us in a lovely private room. That was a great start to a delicious meal that everyone enjoyed. I wish I could have tried all the appetizers. In hindsight, this might be the way to go! The food and service were so on point that our group went back a second time (with a reservation) in our four days in Barcelona. This time we ordered the epic Chocolate Bonsai dessert to cap the meal. It had a satisfying amount of chocolate with textures and tastes that leave you wanting more. I shared this dessert... and wish I didn't The noise level was high but otherwise this one scores high on every aspect of the dining experience!

Everything is beautifully presented and they handled our large group with ease. Definitely make a reservation, especially if you've got a large group. They may not have a Michelin star, but they're as good as or better than any place I've been that has one. If you're in the main part of Barcelona, it can be a trek out here (it is SO worth it), but if you're staying by the convention center and its nearby shopping mall, it is an easy walk and I haven't found anything else in the area that comes close.
