When we got the pizzas home, we really enjoyed the flavors and crust texture. They were even able to replicate our favorite California pizza (jalapenos, pepperoni, and pineapple)!

Wow! Amazing amazing burgers…read more My only complaint is how slow the service was. Maybe it was a down day, but the service was incredibly slow in making our food and being attentive. We were in the back, though so I recommend sitting in the front and you should have no problem. The food is so good! Best burgers in Barcelona I've had so far. Wow, just there are so many different types you can get, and all the ones I've tasted have been really really exceptional, like you were in a true American burger joint. Really really good amazing. Potato chips were amazing. Nice place, awesome burgers. Will come back.

This place is in contention for the best burger I've ever had. I'm not going to say that this is…read morethe best burger I've ever had, only because I live in Texas and I've eaten a lot of very nice burgers, including some I probably can't recall at the moment. I had the iberico burger and my wife had a meat-only, and we were both very very happy with our dinners. Good meat, good bread, good toppings, good uniquely handmade fries equals a great burger experience. We might go back again, and we're only here for two more days. It's that good.

We accidentally found this place after being turned from another restaurant nearby due to waiting…read more I am so glad it happened to us, because Lolola's food was great, beyond our expectations. Menu del dia was about €16+ including bread and beverage. If I go there again for another Menu del dia, my choice would be paella (deep savary seafood taste), Sepio(soft and tasty, SO GOOD), and may flan (not too sweet which was good; I haven't tried other options). Their portion sizes are generous. We came out full, couldn't eat desserts so took them out in box. We visited there the second time before we left Barcelona, because their Sepia dish was quite impressive. We tried more options by the Manager(?)'s recommendations. Pleasantly amazed by their dishes! Morcilla magauena (under hot baguettes) Jamon iberico (under baguettes) Calamares a la romana (tapas) Sepia a la plancha (tapas) Pulpitos a la plancha (tapas) ALL of the above, FANTASTIC!!! Black blood sausage was a surprise to us with great flavor, because we would have never tried it without his recommendation. How surprising their Jamon with olive oil on tomato baguettes eased my palates when I was not used to and not a big fan of Jamon flavor. I've never had these soft, melting grilled seafood with no rubbery texture. Pretty amazing! Potatos and a little bit of mayo elevates the taste. (We REALLY appreciated his special treatment for us on our second visit.) It seems steak with potato fries and spaghetti (possibly, mixed sauce) popular to locals, too. You may get these somewhere else, but believe it or not, my husband who grew up with potato fries in U.S. said this was the best fries ever, fresh, crispy outside and soft inside. Lalola is busy with locals, maybe with airbnb travelers nearby. Service is fast, friendly. If you can speak Spanish, it's a plus. If not, it's okay, they have some servers speaking English. It's location is a bit away from major tourist spots, BUT worth to check out, I believe, especially when you are on the way to or from Parc Guell! STRONGLY recommend this place for their flavor and pricing!!!
