Arrived to Kasarap October 2025 after touring Barcelona 4 days. One of our family members is Filipino and craving some comfort food. Kasarap did not disappoint. The Bbq pork on skewers was the best. The Pansit Chicken dish, ordered two of it and one dish was lukewarm and smaller portion than the other. Inconsistency in the orders. The Chicken Adobo was extremely salty as well as the Pansit Chicken. Lumpia was very small in size, done in 2-3 bites. Served hot which was great. Service and ambiance was excellent. One star less for inconsistent order size, lukewarm noodles, overly salty dishes. read more

Solid 4.5 stars for their Filipino eats, nice break from the tapas. The place was bustling at 9.30pm with mostly locals so it must be good. The pinakbet was spot on as well as their lichon, who would have think you'd find authentic PI eats in Barcelona. Nice people and great food. They even have pseudo jeepney benches/seats at the tables...keeping it real. PRO-TIP they do charge for water so order the beer, who does not like a beer in lieu of water. read more

If ever in Barcelona, you must come to this amazing hidden Filipino 'Gem' Restaurant- Kasarap! I know when in Spain you eat tapas which we did but craving for some good Filipino food this is it! We started with lumpia shanghai eggrolls truly delicious! We also orderd their Kare-Kare & Caldereta & Lechon Kawali all were so so good. We did squeeze in some delicious dessert and had their buko pandan and their ube cheesecake and wow! We had such a great experience we came back for a 2nd night! The service was top notch and the space overall was roomy & clean, I'm sure to return here when in Barcelona! read more

Top-notch Filipino cuisine is something you don't expect to find in Barcelona. For this reason, Kasarap is such a pleasant surprise. Storefront is unassuming. Interior provides an open and bright space in which one can enjoy some of the best Filipino food on this side of the world. We had Kare-kare (oxtail stew) and sautéed squid. Both were excellent. Their menu features a wide selection of Filipino favorites. It also includes specialty drinks and dessert. It appeared that we were the only tourists dining at the time. Native Barcelonis must be telling us something about Kasarap. read more

We had just arrived from Paris and were looking for a restaurant near our hotel. We were walking around and noticed the signage, I'm not filipino but I know enough to translate it to English for delicious, so I asked my wife who is Filipina, does that say "delicious?" And she was like no way, as we both though it might mean something else. As it happens it was filipino cuisine. We opened the door and was blown away, the restaurant was clean bright, and filled with Filipinos. We were both pleasantly surprised. And the staff are also Filipino which was a welcomed surprise, as most people know Parisians are not friendly at all. They sat us down, luckily before the huge dinner rush, 9pm apparently. And proceeded to order: Bulalo Nilaga: Beef bone soup. This was delicious as it took me back to when I visited Tagatay. Sizzling Sisig with egg: delicious, and comes on a hot plate Lechon Kawali: Yummy fried pork ness Okoy: Thin and crispy shrimp based pancakes Pork BBQ skewers: grilled to perfection with some sweet and salty balance Halo Halo: Great dessert to finish things off I must say this was the best Filipino food, I've had, better than anything in the USA, yes even in LA. Only exception was of course in the Philippines. We went back here 2 of the 5 nights of our stay in Barcelona. Highly recommended!!!!! read more

It was such a happy surprise to find this place! I love their tapsilog and their chicken in coconut milk, and they do a great job with the garlic fried rice. I wish I could have tried more things, since everything looked so good. If you're just coming from an expensive city like Paris, not only are the prices much cheaper, but quality of the food is even better than the Filipino places in Paris. If only there was a Kasarap in all the cities I visit and live in. People here are really friendly and helpful with suggestions, which is the cherry on top. read more
