I came to this place because of their close proximity to home. I was a bit worried about the low ratings and bad reviews, but that changed by the time I left. There was no wait when I came by and the technician was very friendly. He had my vehicle Smog Tested and out the door in about 10 minutes. I paid $50.00 flat for my 2010 Dodge sedan which has about 75,000 miles. I would recommend to others. read more

Worse please ever -prices are outrageous $71.95 normal Car $51,95 to lazy take the Doghouse off - very rude - i dolt him he can do this. Oh after this he was pissed off and didn't let my Car pass- GAS CAP FAILURE - AND VACUM LINE ARE DRY - THAT BS I told him - he said for $50 i can fix this and pass you - WOW that how the make money - I told fk you and left. Went here a few weeks ago, they charge $39.95, plus $8.25 (I think) for the Certificate if you pass. I must say they are pretty fair & take care of you/it. Fast too, called the time he said he would & highly recommend to anyone that needs to Smog. Everyone else in the area (including the Smog place down the street from them) were pretty much over priced. read more

Went to get a smog on a saturday no issues very quick.. I think the only thing i could comment in a bad way is the fact they didnt send the info to the dmv. Yet its still a fast friendly place get the smog done. Again i went on a saturday and i wss there less then 45mins! read more

I went to this place because it's convenience, less than 5mins up the street. Once this guy tested my vehicle, he came back to say the test was incomplete and for me to drive it about 60 miles then bring it back...this of course was a 40.00 charge for an incomplete testing and he stated that once I brought it back to him it would be an additional 30.00 to run a new test. Ok, I had a new battery just replaced, so I say ok, maybe it does need to reset itself. I drove it for about 80-90 miles then brought it back to have him test it again and this guy said it still had not reset itself. I ended up taking it to another smog shop who promptly told me... that base on my DMV paper work (which I had given this guy) I did not need a smog test. Coming from a different state where the smog/emission test is required each year, I did not realize I didn't need one. So much for convenience with not only the lost of 40.00 dollars, but an additional unnecessary at least 90 miles added to my vehicle. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER GO TO THIS PLACE. BEWARE! !!!!!!! SIMPLE SMOG TEST TURNED OUT TO BE A LOSS OF 48$ DOLLARS. I have been going here since 2003 and never had a problem until I sent my wife to get her blazer smoged. They pulled it in and ran it on the dyno and passed on the dyno but the smog tech did a visual after it passed and he failed it because the k&n intake c r b number was not legible. I called k&n and got the c r b number for the tech but that was not good enough for him so he pretty much pocketed our money because they didnt have to pay a ca certification fee. To top it all off they said they would sell us a set of tires for 20.00 off. How insulting We went to banning and got it smoged no problem. read more

Find another station!! New owner said my vehicles traction control disconect wasn't working and had to abort the test, made me pay $10.00. I went to another test station and the technician showed me the label under my hood that stated the vehicle must be tested "unladen", or not on the dyno with the wheels spinning. He tested my vehicle no problem. See SAGE Test & Repair. Went back to Calimesa Smog test and showed Ramiro Hernandez the label and ask again for my $10.00 back since he didn't know what he was doing and he refused. Too small a town to treat people like that and not just admit when you are wrong, am filing a complaint with Bureau of Automotive Repair. read more

Went here as I have with all my trucks for the last decade. They told me that I had to clean my truck before they'd smog it. Ummmmmm that's ridiculous. I call "racial profiling" cause I'm white. These people have lost a customer with 5 vehicles that's bought several sets of tires. The mechanic was nice and polite. However, he failed my diesel truck because he said the smoke was lingering during the snap test. This is a test based on the mechanic's subjective opinion. So of course, it is better to fail your customer. That way they won't come back. There might be something to what someone else wrote about charging for a retest. If you have a diesel, don't go here. read more

Called a week ago got a price of $60 with certificate. My son goes in and gets quoted $80 for the same vehecle. Called the guy who said he was the manager but he says it's too late because he already started test and it's not his problem that another EMPLOYEE quoted me a price that is not right because he was NOT AUTHORIZED to give quotes. Car fails smog so they can only charge me $70 (because no certificate issued). Checked timing myself and somehow shows 10 degrees BTDC as it should and NOT 14 degrees BTDC as stated on the results paperwork. Don't know how this could happen but I will be taking it to Pep Boys in Redlands who quoted less than $40 with certificate and $28 if it fails Plus they can satisfy the "Star" station requirements. read more
