Wow, excellent views. I walked in and took the first seat I saw with an excellent view. Sunny and beautiful views of lovers points I had a flight of seltzer and one beer. So good! The seltzers are very sweet. But delicious. My favorite was the grapefruit. The pizza was a combination of pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, olives. A perfect amount of sauce and cheese. The crust was a thin soft crust. Almost thought it wasn't cooked all the way through, but Wrong. It was and perfectly designed for folding and eating. Service(?), outstanding! Joseph was friendly and helpful. There were plenty of seats inside, outside and at the bar: they also have a brunch menu and cocktails. Mimosa flights and margarita flights. Not many restaurants in the particular area. Glad I stopped here. Do it. SYOY.

Across from lovers point park, this bright place offers a selection of drinks, ciders, seltzers and when undecided, you can opt for a flyer. The place is clean and bright. Nice selection of food. Service was good. A nice place for a break!

Wow, stumbled on this place and it is amazing. We had only 2 min left for the breakfast menu and our service hooked us up! I had the spicy breakfast pizza, added hot honey and so so good! My wife had the shrimp tacos and chowder and loved it all! The seltzers are also amazing

My wife and I stopped in after a stroll around the park. A beautiful open space with some views of the ocean insight, service was good and so was the food. The standouts for us were the Al pastor pizza and the punch seltzer was like drinking a spiked sparkling Hawaiian Punch.

I have followed them on instagram and wanted to check them out for a while! My husband and I arrived on a Sunday around noon and when we walked in there was a cute bar yet the three people behind the bar didn't acknowledge us. Confused we walked to what we assumed was the host stand and she asked us for two? We were sat at the window and had a great view of the ocean, even in the downpour that was happening! We only ordered the mimosa flight, a sunrise seltzer and the grilled oysters. Unfortunately it took far too long for them to come out and I was disappointed in about half of the drink. They were overly sweet and just not good. The server also took way too long to bring BACK our card after we paid. Very disappointed because I really wanted to like this spot!

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The place was relatively packed with new guests coming through the doors pretty consistently. I wanted to try one of their pizzas but didn't think our party of two could finish it granted I was not leaving without trying their Shrimp Cobb Salad. So, we ordered the Shrimp Cobb Salad and raw oysters to share. The salad was perfect -- loaded with tons of pure goodness. I absolutely loved how generous these guys were with the blue cheese dressing because the dressing makes all the difference in the world. Avocados were fresh and delightful, and the cherry tomatoes had the perfect hint of sweetness. We absolutely enjoyed the salad and finished the dish in its entirety. The oysters were good also. They're definitely short staffed but I think that's true across the hospitality industry board. Nonetheless, the food was excellent. I would return when in the area again.

BBQ Apricot Pulled Pork Sandwich

Stopped in California Seltzer Co for lunch yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised by the specials offered. We decided to split the BBQ Apricot Pulled Pork Sandwich. The pork was tender and the sauce had a slightly sweet tanginess with just a touch of heat. Topped with smoked gouda and romaine all piled on a delicious french baguette. This was delicious! With the french fries, it was more than enough to split. We also shared their churros for dessert. They were crispy outside, stuffed with cream cheese, dusted with cinnamon sugar and served with both chocolate and dulce de leche for dipping. This was a real treat! I hope they continue offering specials to help round out their menu. I also noticed they have a Thursday special - pizza and a pint for $20. Not a bad deal at all. If you have not been for awhile, give them another chance! You can't beat the view and the manager, bartender and servers are always friendly and welcoming.

Tuna tostadas?

The prices for some of the food is too much and the food was not even that good. The fettuccine pasta was bland. It was not that bad tho. The service was fine. Our waitress was nice. The ambiance was nice and clean. I liked how it wasn't cluttered and there was a nice ocean view. The tuna tostadas weren't even tostadas bruh. It was so small like one bite each and the "tuna" wasn't even tuna tasting. I think im just used to seasoning my food and maybe thats why the food here was mid. The crispy chicken sandwich was ass. Wasn't even crunchy/crispy and it was so bland bruh.

Beautiful new spot in Pacific Grove. The building and the interior is picturesque and feels very cheerful. Very aesthetically pleasing. Although the location and spot is beautiful, the food and service was sub par. The pizzas were very over priced for the quality. The pizza and the salad were both pretty bland. The seltzer tasted like sparkling water that someone squirted perfume in. The service wasn't great either. The host/ordering stand is tucked inside. That was the first and last time we talked to a server the entire time we were there--minus our food getting brought to the table. No one checked on us either. I wouldn't recommend eating here but I would recommend coming for the insta pics though!

This is a wonderfully placed bar in Pacific Grove. There is ample street and private parking. A bartender told me that 40 years ago, it was a disco hall... fun! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is heated to enjoy the cool PG evenings. The kitchen is open, so you can definitely see how the cooks are prepping your food. Looks like a coal-fired oven for pizza. They have high-chairs for kids and the bathrooms were super clean. I had the Pink Lemonade. It wasn't too sweet, and was very tasty and refreshing. I would definitely come back when the rest of the restaurant is complete. They are planning to add more seating and a yogurt bar.

I went with a group for a business dinner and made a reservation about a week prior. Our server was very knowledgeable and nice and incredibly attentive. We ordered a couple of bottles of wine and she repeatedly came and refilled our glasses. We ordered the calamari, beet salad and crab and avocado salad to share for starters. All were delicious and I really enjoyed the calamari. For entrees 3 of the group ordered the daily fish special and highly enjoyed it. I opted for the scallops and they were very delicious! The desserts were the star of the show and we tried one of each on the menu! The bread pudding was my favorite while all others were amazing as well! I highly recommend this place!

Wanted to start with the Spanish rose bubbly prominently suggested on the menu but was told they were out of it. Instead ordered the pinot noir (there were only three wines available by the glass), which was quite good. Started with smoked trout ceviche over lettuce to be gluten-free or over a tostada. The trout was spicy from minced serrano and tasted better with the lettuce than the tostada. The portion size was a bit small. The entrees included albacore tuna crusted with sesame seeds. It was lightly seared and the interior of the fish was a bit too cool. It came with cauliflower puree and chard. The other was the halibut, which was delicious although too salty, perhaps because of the miso-based sauce it was served in. It came with a couple of small pieces of leeks that were a bit too rich from the butter they were sauteed in. We were the first people of the evening to try the Roquefort blue cheese ice cream that came with crushed candied walnuts and honey. It was a riff on a cheese plate. It was different, and not bad at all; it was creative but I probably wouldn't get it again. The atmosphere has not changed in the past 10 years and it remains a cozy space that is not too loud.

They have a small lot with parking, which is fine if you get there early. You pick up a menu from the counter and order, then grab a table and wait for the buzzer to go off. The space is casual and stuff is served on paper plates, so this is not a date night place! It's really cute with all of their nautical themed decorations. They also have a bunch of merchandise and food related gift items, if you're looking for the perfect souvenir. Employees were friendly and helpful. We ordered these items: Fish and Chips - highly recommended! They're fresh and have that classic flavor you're craving. We saw a lot of folks getting this one. Not a surprise! You get 4 hearty pieces, hot and crisp. The "chips" had a bit of batter and were crisp on the outside and moist and tender on the inside. Perfect! Comes with a tiny scoop of coleslaw. Sablefish with butter - the person at the counter said it just came in today. It was super fresh and cooked just perfectly. Sablefish isn't super fatty nor dry, it's just perfect. Veggies were fresh and cooked throughly with just a touch of crunch. Rice pilaf is quite flavorful and delicious, just a touch greasy, but in a good way! Sand Dabs - DH noticed this special after we already ordered, but he couldn't resist. Cost was based on weight + $8 for cooking. They were lightly battered and absolutely delicious. Clam Chowder (smallest size) - surprisingly good too. They must've improved their recipe since the last time we ate here. It's very thick and hearty with delicious, sweet, small pieces of clam. Overall, a fun place for a fresh, casual meal. You'll need to bus your own table after eating. Bathrooms are outside in the back. It's not as crowded as the fancier restaurants. Kids loved the food. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and gave great menu suggestions. We ended up with the Tuna Carpaccio, Roasted Artichoke, and Steamed Fish in Coconut Broth. All of it was excellent! The carpaccio was amazingly delicate and the flavors were fantastic. The artichoke was roasted really well and the sauce (dairy free even though it was ranch!) really added to it. The steamed fish was extremely tender and cooked well and the flavors with the lion's mane mushroom and coconut broth were also fantastic. All of the items we ordered were delicious! The fun artwork and paintings throughout the restaurant added so much personality and made the space even more enjoyable. We started with the duck pâté and bread. The pâté was silky smooth with just a hint of sweetness, paired perfectly with the toasted bread. It literally melted in your mouth. The octopus with bean and honey sauce was another standout. The sauce complemented the octopus beautifully. The octopus itself was incredibly tender and soft -- not chewy at all -- and honestly reminded me of some amazing octopus I had while visiting Portugal. The mussels came in a very generous portion, and the tomato sauce was so good you could drink it by itself. For our mains, we had the sea scallops and the seared tuna, and both dishes were excellent. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtful, and well executed. The coffee and tea cups were the Bodum brand, great quality, double-lined, and they kept the drinks warm while still being comfortable to hold. I ordered the broiled oysters with garlic chili oil to start. We also got the Caesar to split. My husband ordered the chicken dish, while I had the crab arancini as my entree. They were busy when we got there, but slowly people started to leave. Our server took awhile to greet us, but we understood. The oysters were so disappointing. The garlic chili oil was drowned out by toasted sesame oil (which I hate) and they were almost inedible. The sesame oil was not listed in the description on the menu, or I would have passed. Hard. Also, whoever shucked the oysters, didn't remove the whole body from the shell ( big no no) so I was fighting with my fork to release them. I worked at an oyster bar for years and shucked my fair share of them. It was hard to cleanse my palate of the sesame oil, because it was so overpowering. The Caesar was fine, nothing to write home about. The crab arancini was the best thing that I had. Really crispy and delicious. My husband was very disappointed with his dish. He is a chef of 30+ years and was excited to try the Demi glacé that was listed on the menu. What came out was chicken broth with so much garlic that it was also overpowering. The menu also said that the carrots and potatoes were roasted, but all of the veg had been boiled. So, everything was the same boiled texture and it was very unpleasant for him. He did let our server know. Our server ( a younger woman - didn't get her name) never asked how the food was. I don't know if she just didn't want to know, or what. She also never refilled my husband's empty water glass and didn't ask if I would like another glass of sparkling wine when she dropped off our entrees, even though my glass was empty, The one nice thing is that they gave us a complimentary coffee/chocolate dessert to celebrate our anniversary. Unfortunately, by this time, we were ready to go. We will not be returning. Fix your menu and make sure the kitchen is preparing food the way it's described.
