This is undoubtedly THE BEST PIZZA in Mexico. Weve been there several times and take all our…read morefriends there. The crust is so thin and delicate, just like I had in Nice France, and Rome. The toppings are first rate -absolutely mouth-watering. I've reviewed them other place with the same rave reviews. Their consistency amazes me. The chef told me they use only semolina flour from Italy. The location is very nice outdoor setting with fountain and greenery. They have good service and really care about their customers. They do not serve alcohol. Bogatti's is the ultimate Italian pizza! The restaurant is a 5 min drive north of Centro a half block off of Correghidora. Large pizzas are 250 to 300 pesos and worth every pesos.

Alejandro offers vegetarian. I prefer meat. Lasagna and Pizza My suggestions share a lasagna as starter while your handmade pizza is being delicately prepared. Outside seating you miss the preparation demonstration and the fresh delightful aromas. The lasagna is filled with robust Italian flavors. No Mexican influence. Remarkable. The accompanying Garlic bread is warn, crispy and dripping with buttered garlic Excellent pallet wake up for a aromatic handmade hot pizza The pie crust crunch is music to me hears. Bogatti Pizza - The leafy Entrada is so reminiscent of Mexico but the fragrant smell of Marinara and garlic give it away. This is the real rare thing..

It's all here, almost: the pizza, the video games, skeeball, the Chuck E. costume, the ticket muncher, the salad bar, and singin' and rockin' Chuck E. Cheese band. I spent my very first couple of birthdays at Chuck E. Cheese, so I'm mostly glad to see a piece of my childhood in the city that I love, even though the Americanization of Querétaro and Mexico in general continues through this new wave of US-based chains that have opened in the country in the last couple of years. But I digress. The expanding franchise has brought all the goods. You can expect to see the combos of pizza, soda, and tokens, the many games that eat your tokens making you call an attendant, and Chuck E. Cheese coming out every hour to 'make it rain'. The pizza is OK. It is no secret that the chain has been trying to keep up with technological advancements that have encompassed hours of entertainment into a small screen, and that it has also suffered a decline in its quality and service, but the Mexican branch of operations offers something that was almost non-existent in the market. That being said, I would think that the pizza served here is still inferior to the one served in the US, but it is still good enough to serve as a more than apt snack between playing the arcade games. Before this opinionated list of personal reflection on the effects of capitalism gets too long, I'll present these final thoughts: Chuck E. Cheese is still a good place to get some pizza, have some fun, relive old memories or make new ones. Bienvenido a Querétaro!

Tonino's - Pizza Hawaiiana, Milanesa Napolitana & Naranjada. Mexitalian feast!

The coziness of the restaurant and its laid back feel are replicated in the food, making this an ideal place to eat with the family. Nostalgia always sets in whenever I visit this diminutive, 8-table restaurant in Plaza del Parque. I remember visiting this place nearly every Sunday after church; my parents waiting in line for a table among all the hungry eaters, while us kids played the time away at Showtime, playing Crazy Taxi and Marvel vs Capcom. When the time came to sit at our table, our menu had been decided since the first time we went there: A jar of Naranjada to drink, an Empanada de Elote to split between mom and dad, a pizza for my brother and me, and a Milanesa Napolitana for everyone at the table. It was a weekly feast worthy of a holiday, but fit for our Sunday afternoons. The food evokes and draws from Italian and Mexican flavors. The menu features consomés, sopa de tortilla, and caldo tlalpeño; empanadas, calzones, and pizza as the cultural counterpart. Their most popular dish is the Milanesa, which you could think of as a play on Chicken Parmesan, using breaded thin beef steak, as is the traditional Mexican Milanesa, topped with tomato sauce, melted cheese, and Parmesan. Pasta is most often used as a side, although you may also get baked potatoes served with a delicious aioli, salad, or steamed veggies. The pizzas, empanadas, and calzones are also good and satisfying, with a homemade taste that keeps the meal going along in the same delicious tune. The downside, apart from the place being very small, is the time they take to serve your main dishes, even when you happen to go weekdays during their down times. It seems that there always is a 10-20 minute waiting time for food, regardless of how busy the kitchen is. For how casual the food is, it may feel at times that the wait is not worth it, but where else are you going to get a huge dish of spaghetti and Milanesa topped with Parmesan and gooey Manchego? You may also go to their newer location in Juriquilla if you'd care to drive. If you walk by Tonino's and you see an open table, make sure you take it. It will be a comforting meal in a comforting place.
