A great location I've walked into on this hot day thankfully they were prepared with water on hand :) the technicians at this salon are the best at listening to what you want in this city, (I've been to almost if not every salon in this city some nail technicians will argue with you or just not listen to you entirely which they shouldn't since they are your nails and you're paying for it to be done. This salon is amazing at working with you.) as long as you as the client understand everything as well and work with the technician to get the outcome you want. I got my eyebrows done too, now I did have to ask for more to be done but again they are great at working with you. She did make me bleed with the tweezers something not cool... but overall they did an amazing job. I wouldn't go back to wax but NAILS 100% the spot in this city. read more

One of the worst customer service experiences ever faced my wife went in to inquire about services and she was approached by a fat woman yelled at my wife and told her all information is on the wall and the turned around and walked away from my wife at that point my wife felt very uncomfortable and walked out as the store only had 1 customer in it so its not like they were to say busy in any way that probably explains why the nail shop was empty poor customer service equals no customers she could not take 2 minutes to go over the services with my wife will never come to this place ever read more

To start off. I've loved this place. I've been going here are a regular basis for 3 years now. After my bad experience won't be returning to this establishment. I showed them what I wanted and they should've said from the very beginning that they couldn't do what I wanted. But they gave my friend and I a new set is nails which came out to $90 for just 2 sets of nails which is a crazy price because we didn't even get them painted. The male owner always does a half fast job of shaping and lengths. My thumbs are 10x shorter than my fingers. The girls working here are wonderful. And very understanding and does an outstanding job and that's why I loved going here until now. read more

My husband bought me a gift certificate for California Nails last Christmas and I went in the new year and met who is now my favourite Nail lady EVER!!! I get bio gel and shellac over top and have been going there for a year now with only breaking three nails and them lasting anywhere from 4-6 weeks depending on my schedule to get in for a fill. Horrible.... Pretty sure they do not understand the purpose of making an appointment. I have tried over 20 times. Each time I made an appointment and each time they were half hour or more behind schedule. The last time I decided to stay and see if maybe they give discount for making me wait. Guess what!! Instead I was charged 10$ more for the exact same service I pay 25$ for. On top of that the girl _Lynn was super rude to me while she was doing my nails, she made me feel like I was bothering her, and made jokes in her native language with her co-workers. They didn't get my friend to put her flip flops on and made her walk to the manicure station without shoes across their floor, which made her feet super dirty. She then sat there getting a manicure with her bare feet. Seemed a little unsanitary to me and made me question the sanitation of the instruments and other items. read more

I went to this nail salon because I had bought a Groupon voucher. There was the option of UV Gel or Solar Nails, I chose the Solar nail option, for $22. The girl who answered the phone when I called to make my appointment spoke English well. My technician had a bit of an accent but I could understand her fine. My nails were done okay. Not great but not anything sub par. I did have to go home and do some adjusting since my skin was glued to the nail tips stil. Also there is a bit of acrylic on the underside of my nails that she didn't "clean up" at the end as I am accustomed to. Maybe I'm confused, but I couldn't really distinguish a difference between these "solar" nails and standard cheapy acrylics. A warning for those using groupons at this location: I had to pay an extra $5 for white (plastic) tips, and there was some other sort of fee for $2 and change for using the groupon. In total I ended up paying an additional $8 that I wasn't expecting. Overall it ended up being a $30 set of acrylics, so not a bad price but not really the great deal I thought I was getting. Probably won't return here, its location just isn't convenient and I really only went there because of the groupon. read more
