Surefire has multiple locations across the country. I was a bit skeptical knowing that there wasn't…read moregoing to be an instructor. However, the computer was monitoring me and giving advice that was super helpful. I believe that my favorite thing about Surefire would be the convenience, there are multiple locations in San Diego and they are offered at by the hour. There was a link that had videos of someone else practicing CPR on the mannequins, which was super helpful- on that same link showed a video of instructions on how to enter the building. Once I arrived to the room, I turned the light on, wiped down the mannequins with a sanitizer wipe, and then logged into the computer. You're given multiple attempts to pass, and it will give you advice on how often you should compress/ventilate, when you switch, and how deep your compressions should go. I would recommend this experience to anyone.

Surefire is totally worth it for the convenience and concise, effective teaching. Once i signed up, I was able to access my course content which I did at home. You are able to stop as needed. I was able to complete my course in less than one hour. The skills check location was professional, clean, organized and everything was clearly labeled. I was sent a few videos with tips for passing the skills check and clear instructions on how to get to the location/suite. Despite there being no instructor, the location feels very safe and there are so many instructions posted that one would know exactly what to do to pass their skills check and in a timely manner. I am very happy with my experience and will be recommending Surefire to others!

First I want to express my gratitude to Vince for the BEST BLS training ever!…read more Vince had mentioned before our training that he takes pride in how he teaches the course and said that teaching was his passion! I never felt more confident and prepared after a training like I did after Vince's training. We went through multiple scenarios and he challenged us to think and react naturally and then explained the correct approach and process in a way that didn't make me feel uncertain. Vince used real life scenarios that he had encountered to help us understand better. Vince didn't just teach me BLS skills, he helped me understand how important this knowledge is and like he said, you never know when you will need to use these skills, but I know for sure I am trained and confident if I ever do and that's all thank to Vince our neighborhood Hero!

Test Center Review:…read more Came here for a Pearson Vue test. This center is exactly what I was expecting for a professional testing center. They had high availability of scheduling times even less than a week from when I scheduled the exam. They are efficient with check-in and check-out at the office adjacent to exam room. They provide high-school type lockers to stow your personal items before entering the exam room. You can bring your own lock or use one they provide for you. The exam room is a decent size (I did not feel cramped), you check in with the moderator and that person logs you into your exam. It was a quiet environment, the equipment worked appropriately and the staff is good about directing you from step to step to get you from start to finish during your test day. Free parking --- yes it was pretty full like they warn you about in their directions blurb. I was able to find more than a few empty spots at the back of the lot on a weekday morning though.
