I had to review this newly opened burger joint in Strasbourg. Even though it is a small place, it looks more like a restaurant than a fast food joint and the quality of the ingredients combined with the Hamburger knowledge of the staff are going to make it a popular place amongst Hamburger Fashionistas in town. I tried their El Gringo and Batave Burgers and both were excellent. I, however, customized my El Gringo order, replacing grilled onions with fresh onions and adding bacon. I must say that their Cheddar was excellent as well as the beef patties. The buns were a bit over grilled and the lettuce not what you would expect in a hamburger but overall it is very likely the best Hamburger option in town. My only comment would be that their hamburgers tend to border on the French side of Burgerdom and in my book, when it comes to hamburgers, I would say that the more classic and more American the better!

I love the options of vegetarian, and meats other than beef. The duck burger, buffalo burger etc. There is a burger with brie and fig, what could be more french than that? This isn't a grease burger dive, its an exquisite delicious really well prepared burger joint, and if you like burgers this is the place to go. Although the only down side to me is the service, there is usually one person who is the host and the server, they use an ipad to take your orders and are never friendly, and dont usually check back to see if you have everything you ordered/ are satisfied/ need another beer or more ketchup. For dressing up a burger joint so much, I do expect a better server. But when you have such good food it can be forgiven.

There's plenty of seating both outside and inside, but the grill can get the room quite hot if you choose the inside option! On my visit, I ordered the vegetarian tarbouche plate, which came with two falafel, creamy hummus, baba ghanoush, tabouleh, a dolma, and a pastry filled with spinach, and another filled with cheese. Everything on this plate was simply delicious in its own way, and the dips were perfect with the bowl of sliced pita bread that came with the meal. I also tried the grillades plate, which came with a chicken skewer, a lamb skewer, and a round kafta ground meat kabab, along with a cucumber/tomato salad, more hummus, garlic sauce, and a very flavorful pile of rice. The lamb skewer was so juicy and tender, while the kafta was so juicy and nicely spiced--everything went well with the dips and sauces, and everything came at a great value! Probably due to how busy the place was, our entrees took forever to come, and the servers could have been a bit more attentive, but nevertheless, this was a great restaurant to visit for a casual, delicious meal!
