We just got Zoey two days ago and are over the moon in love with her! Not only is she cute and fluffy, she has lots of personality, is playful, and extremely well behaved. It's amazing she's 9 weeks old, and has had no problem transitioning to going to the bathroom outside when I take her (was originally litter box trained). She also has slept through both nights without whining or any accidents in her crate. We are having so much fun with her, but are also so impressed with the great breeding and care that Adrienne and her family provided to create such a wonderful dog. Working with Adrienne ahead of time was so easy, as she answered all my questions and kept me updated through the process. Upon getting Zoey, we got to see her play with her siblings, mom, and dad....the whole bichon family. The way Adrienne's kids cared for and said goodbye to the puppy was also testament of the treatment and love the dogs receive in their early stages. Snowball just loves people and is so lovable to everyone especially children. She is extremely intelligent and plays beautifully with other animals including cats. I could go on forever talking about my Snowball. Adrienne takes special care to ensure that her puppies are healthy by regularly taking them to a veterinarian with all vaccines current and up to date. While waiting to bring my fur baby home, Adrienne provided me with very helpful information to educate me on recommendations on what to purchase prior to bringing Snowball home by emailing me an extensive list of excellent products that would help me with my puppy as well as what to expect during the transition. Adrienne sent me regular updates such as pictures ( so cute ) be prepared to cry because the puppies are so beautiful. She sent me videos of the puppies running around having fun and as I mentioned provided me with an extensive list full of helpful information with everything I needed to purchase for my baby on day one from A-Z. It is quite refreshing to know that there are kind, beautiful, loving and compassionate breeders that do it for the sheer love of the breed. Today I've called a few AKC Breeders of Bichon Frise's looking a puppy. I shared my terrible experiences with California Bichon's with each of the breeders. I am so sorry I didn't talk to them before doing business with California Bichons. In the breeding world California Bichon's has a terrible reputation for lack of full in depth health checks on their pups and the parents of the pups. They also lie to customers such as myself. I shared how Adrienne told me she would return $1,500 On the 7 month old puppy for which I paid $2,500; and $600 for the older dog I purchased to try and help the pup who screamed all the time unless you stayed in the room with him. I was to receive $2,100 after she sold both dogs. Adrienne lied she never returned anything to me while she collected payment twice on the same two dogs Be sure you call other breeders that do thorough health checks for hips, hearts etc to include personality defects before ever doing business with California Bichon's in Colfax, California. I do not deal in real estate and never have except to purchase my own home and one for my daughter. Adrienne you are a LIAR. Daniel Kadlec, owner Rowland Painting was the painting company I hired to make repairs to all the baseboards that Charlie damaged in my new home. I decided to purchase a Bichon for my nieces and nephew and came across California Bichons. I contacted Adrienne, the breeder, and was immediately impressed with her website and demeanor. A female became available because the previous buyer was unable to take her. I quickly left a deposit to make sure someone wouldn't grab her. Adrienne was kind enough to put her aside for us. Adrienne would keep us updated on the progress of the puppy via pictures and video. We loved being able to see how quickly the puppies were growing. Due to my nephew being highly allergic, we ended up backing out a week before picking her up. I was so fortunate to stumble upon Adrienne and California Bichons. I was invited to her home and was delighted with the setting for her Bichons and the family atmosphere that sadly is missing with many dog breeders. The mother Bichon Frise had not yet given birth to her litter, I asked if I could immediately leave a deposit for a pup yet to be born, was told yes, and it would be refundable if I had second thoughts. The litter of little snowballs were born on Mothers Day 2017. After what seemed like forever, (pups were allowed bonding and learning time from Mama) I met with the entire litter of frisky frolicking puppies who all looked alike. Problem, how to choose one? Playing with the pups, I noticed one off to the side, yawn in my direction, it was contagious and I yawned also. Buddy ran and worked his way up to my lap..we've been best of biddies since. I am a older person and Buddy has brought me new responsibilities and I've never been happier in my life. The medical and care instruction provided was greatly appreciated and helpfull. She isn't phased by anything, not even thunder and lightning. While other dogs may bark and whine, she was calm and didn't even bark once. I think she didn't feel the need to. We just got our new puppy from Adrienne on January 3rd. The whole process was delightful! First of all, we originally paid a deposit for a female from a litter born in July. Two days before we were planning to pick her up, we found out our nine-year-old Bichon needed a complicated TPL knee surgery. We were concerned about her recovery if we had a puppy at the same time. So Adrienne allowed us to apply our deposit to the next litter due in October, our older dog recovered from surgery, and we brought Margo home last week. We so appreciated her flexibility. Margo came home with a wonderful puppy care kit, detailed care instructions, and even a tiny collar and leash. She passed her puppy check-up at our vet with flying colors. She is sweet and well adjusted- a testament to the love and care she received for her first 8 weeks with Adrienne.
