Call at least a day or few hours ahead in case they are slow, he is very helpful with directions. We paid $45 for a tandem and everything was perfect. The scenery is so beautiful and water is nice for a swim. One thing there is a TON of spiders and snakes so be ready to avoid the fallen branches and whatnot. It's also very quiet aside from one local we had the entire river to ourselves. Adventures like these are what memories are made of, thanks Billy!

Located right along the historic Natchez Trace Parkway in Hohenwald, this park feels like a true escape into nature. The setting is stunning -- over 1,500 acres of mature Western Highland Rim forest that has remained largely undisturbed for at least 60 years. The main 3.5-mile trail is rugged and rewarding, with a moderate-to-strenuous 220-foot elevation change that takes you through beautiful woods, past creeks, and plenty of opportunities to spot native wildlife. It's the perfect hike for anyone who loves peaceful, immersive forest trails. What makes this park especially unique is its exclusive access directly from the Natchez Trace Parkway. There's something special about pulling off this historic route and stepping into such a pristine natural area. The staff welcomed us and made us feel comfortable, they explained everything thoroughly so you know what you are getting into and get you set up and even take before photos of your group before you get all muddy. Our tour guide was Mick, he was awesome! He explains the history of the land as you're going through the back roads, which is really fascinating and he takes you through the best splashes and showed us the coolest scenic waterfalls. We Had a great Time! We were there for a 3 day Muzzle Loader deer hunt. In the time that we were…read morethere I saw 1 deer moving quickly downhill. That being said other hunters in our party saw at least 10 deer and 1 person in our group of hunters got a couple shots off but missed ( He did not have an inline). No deer were harmed by the Archery party before us or our group. Bug was 5 stars, I am partially disabled and his assistance was above and beyond expectations. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The Food: Im on a special diet so i only partook of the food on 1 day and it was pretty good. The other days i had brought my own food. The accommodations were great. We were on the 2nd floor the bed was comfortable and plenty of hot water in the shower. On other hunts i have been on we would see deer in the fields feeding on our way out or on the road and we did not see any. Not saying they were not there, just that we saw none on the way to our stands. This was my 1st time hunting white tail deer. We mostly hunt black tail and mule deer in the west. The Deer hunt was 3 star the service was 5 star
