We have only ever used them so we had no idea where to look. My wife enlisted Yelp to help us. She put in some request for quotes and received a few back pretty quickly. We had never used that but it was very helpful. Quality Masters was the first to respond and then also took time to message back and forth with her. The other companies were not as friendly and responsive. We also read their Yelp reviews, which we all good, so we figured we would use them. We were able to make the appointment for the next day and were able to do it all through text. It was very simple for us! There was a moment of uncertainty but they were extremely professional and friendly. I was going to be home while my wife was at work, so on the day of our appointment, they were running early. They called asking if early would be ok, so our appointment was moved up. I cannot remember his name, but the technician that came was very knowledgeable and professional. He pinpointed the issue immediately. He discovered our dryer was clogged with lint and the coils were bad. It makes sense since we had never had our vents cleaned. He was able to replace the coils, as well as sucking out as much lint as he could with his tools. Unfortunately, they do not clean vents like that but again, he could help us out with some of it. He also made suggestions as to what else needed to be done, really with just getting the vents cleaned. They also take your payment online either with credit card, for a small fee, or Zelle or Venmo. The invoice will be emailed to you and allow you to pay that way. Personally, we do not prefer to pay for services with Zelle so we used a credit card. It was very simple. I thought overall the price they charged for the coils and cleaning, was very reasonable. It did not cost us much at all. I would definitely use them again, should we need something fixed.

Orlando Appliance Repair was one of those companies. Upon calling, the customer service rep put me in touch with their field-rep, Igor. I described the problem and he planned to show withing two hours or less ... on a Sunday afternoon! My refrigerator came back online and I contacted Igor to make him aware and cancel my appointment. He understood and just simply cancelled my appointment without fuss or cost. If a company can be this prompt and respective to new clients calling on a Sunday afternoon that they would end up not be getting business from that day, I can only believe that their actual work would be first-rate and I would not hesitate to connect with Orlando Appliance Repair for any related needs in the future.

In 2020 the dryer stopped producing hot air, and would not stop tumbling when you hit pause, opened the door, or hit the power button. Unplugging it was the only way to stop it. I was referred to Appliance Technicians, Inc, left them a voicemail, and received a call back within 24 hours. There was a $95 Service fee, but that is deducted from any costs if repairable. A very fair policy. The company had so many service calls that the owner of the company, Mike, came to make the repairs. He was on time, professional, took the time to explain to me what was wrong and why there was no way to replace the faulty Relay Board because they're now glued permanently in place. Instead, Mike showed me how he removed the cover and gently tapped on a section of the board restoring the heat and fixing the tumble problem. He did this because he said it may last 1 day, 6 months or 10 more years, but at least I could try and fix it if it happened again. It felt like I was talking to and learning from my own father. So honest, and not trying to just make money on random repairs that probably would not stick. That was 5 years ago, and it's only happened one other time. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, being so honest, and showing so much integrity. That's hard to come by in this day and age. My fridge went in and out after a wind storm loosened a wire on the PG&E pole outside. I called (4) appliance repair places around January 20th, 2021. The Kenmore fridge I have was manufactured in 2004, and had a tag on the inside that had the serial and model numbers along with a Sears repair call phone #. I also called them after I yelped several repair places first. Restart came after the first business I called had dragged out the timeline for repair by over a month! The long and short of this review is that the initial diagnosis consensus was the fan motor and evaporator needed replacing. Restart sent Alex over and he diagnosed the issue right away, wrote it up. Unfortunately, the parts were delayed in being delivered because of - the now approved excuse - COVID. After almost one month, Alex came back and replaced the parts, but the fridge still wasn't working. An electrician from Restart and Alex found the issue of a fried Control Board. They ordered the new part, and Lena, who is the manager, felt that this problem was an inconvenience long enough, made sure the part came in pronto. Within two weeks my fridge is finally running. The whole horrendous process started Jan. 18, and was finally resolved by ReStart on March 20, 2021. 3 months without a refrigerator is one thing, and thank goodness ReStart was able to get it fixed. Moral of the lesson: Don't have anything break down at the beginning of the year - seems no repair place and parts are ready for work!
