We are out thousands of dollars due to this company's mistake. They did not take ownership of the issue and are leaving us to fight for our money back alone, even after they claimed to "have our back". As senior citizens on a fixed income, we trusted them to lead us in the right direction. Unfortunately that did not happen. They are unknowledgeable, misleading and down right lie to your face. read more

We used Caliber Electric for our heat pump mini split installation. I own a single family home with an in-law apartment (two separate meters) and was told each unit could receive 16k in rebates by this company. Come to find out, that was all a lie. Diana has apparently been doing this for 10 years but "wasn't aware" houses converting from natural gas aren't eligible for these rebates. She also wasn't aware of a maximum payout on a single family home. How can someone who has supposedly been in the industry this long, be this unaware? Unfortunately, all of this information was found out AFTER loans were taken out & installation completed. Unfortunately, their lack of knowledge cost us a large financial headache. The reason we hired a company with a contractor is because the contractor is suppose to be knowledgable on the topic at hand. They are suppose to guide their customers in the right direction. Unfortunately they are not as knowledgable as they presented to be. They gave us the runaround for 4 months just to tell us we're out our $$. To make matters worse, I held this company on a pedestal since day one. I recommended them through and through and come to find out, this is now happening to other customers as well!! I give Caliber Electrical Contracting (CEC) 5 stars on every level and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for an experienced, professional, responsive, courteous, and skilled electrician. I essentially cold called Ricky late on a Friday (via email) with a breaker issue and explained that I could wait the weekend for help. My problem was resolved by Monday afternoon and every interaction with him was exceptional. Not only did he call me back (which was a big first step these days in trying to find a local service professional), but his expertise allowed us to solve the problem quickly. I will not use anyone else moving forward and he will be the only recommendation I will pass along to anyone who asks me for an electrician. I'm so thrilled to have someone so reliable (and kind) in my contact list. read more

It is now February 6 th, 2026 and I received only 2 of the lights and they do not work. At first they said they would deliver them in 3-4 weeks, then over Xmas and then January 15. I called access fixtures several times and they have responded that they will not cancel the remaining order and they will not refund my money. The lights need an enterprise system or a remote in order to turn them on. They did not send me anything nor tell me about this. Remember that I bought these at their recommendation. So I have 2 lights that are sitting on my court that don't work, they will not allow me to return them, they will not allow me to cancel the order and they have not provided a solution. I am at a loss as to how a company can operate like this. If you deal with these people do not allow them to "sweet talk" you into an order. Get everything in writing. In fact, I can not recommend them to do business with. BTW - this is the only negative review I have written in my life.

Installation was for baseboard heat and thermostats. Boxes were already in each apartment. Job cost approximately $10,000. Cyr chose all materials. Within 18 months, multiple thermostats began failing. Cyr charged $400 per service call to replace. It is clear that either they had a bad batch from the supply house, or used inferior products. Cyr refused to adjust pricing. Tried to blame the tenant without any evidence. Tenant is long term and I have had zero problems with her.

Ricky is an incredibly dependable, knowledgeable, talented, and professional electrician. He is kind, prompt, efficient, honest, patient, and fair w/his pricing. I have utilized his services for a a multitude of different projects. From something as minor as changing out a plug on a dryer, checking our electrical panel, installing wiring for a dishwasher or solving mysterious and annoying issues w/outlets -- to installing ceiling fans and some of the most intricate and delicate of chandeliers and lighting fixtures. Caliber Electric upgraded our 100 A electrial service to 200 A, and due to increased size of meter box, to meet code the new box had to be installed on the opposite end of the house Caliber personal arranged for National Grid to move the service line, and installed the new box using the old box as sub to preserve the old wiring. Everything works, lots of unused breakers available for new wiring, and we were very happy with the value of the job. We would choose Caliber again should we need more electrical work. read more
