Much gratitude to Sean Watanabe at Caliber Collision on Pico in SM! Sean was patient, thorough and helpful. I had a minor accident driving home from a holiday weekend trip, but Sean put my mind at ease after taking a closer look at the car including taking a photo to show me the actual damage (tow hitch) under the car. Much to my surprise, no repairs were needed. Sean was transparent. Highly recommend Caliber Collision for your auto needs. read more

Repair result was less than satisfactory. I picked up my car two weeks ago. They fixed, repaired it quickly, but the quality was not good. Also, despite I paid $6,000 to them, they did not even washed a car outside and inside. My driver & passenger seats were dirty and I expected them to clean it at least. This is my 3rd time bringing my car for repairs, and this is going to be the last time read more

Probably the smallest caliber collision location I've been to which unfortunately I've been to 2 others. Picked this location since it was recommended by the insurance company. They mentioned they could send in a cost of repairs to the insurance company to fix but said they could not fix my car. When I called HQ they were also confused so not sure what to make of it. I ended up going to the another caliber collision and was able to get a resolution. Sounds like they are independently owned like a franchise. read more

Sean at this location of Caliber Collision was such a gem to work with and repair my damaged 4Runner. I was able to pull my car in same day as the accident, get an accurate estimate, and approval of insurance in 48 hours to begin repairs. Sean stayed in clear communication with me the whole time, and my car looked BETTER when picking it up than it had BEFORE my accident. Entire process took 10 days. Thank you! read more

**Part 2** In my last review, I shared the terrible experience I had with this office. Now, I want to address the poor communication and lack of accountability from this shop--even when dealing with the store manager. Jack, the store manager, spoke to me on Monday. He claimed to understand the situation and admitted the company's mistakes in guiding customers to drop off rentals at their office without properly closing out the case. This failure leaves drivers responsible for the rental after it's left at the shop. Jack assured me that Caliber Collision was handling the situation with Enterprise and implied the damage was minimal, with no charges. However, when I contacted Enterprise, they informed me they were pursuing a claim for damages through my insurance and confirmed there was damage for which they were holding me accountable. Neither Caliber Collision nor Enterprise has taken responsibility for their malpractice and misleading information, which directly contradicts their own policies. I am escalating this issue to the Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission and California Department of Consumer. This level of negligence and lack of accountability is unacceptable! read more

I was helped by Sean Watanabe last week, and was so pleased with my service. Sean was SO kind, explained things to me clearly, and gave me a lot of options with my service. Although it's no fun to have car issues, it's really nice to know you have a trustworthy person helping you, who's got your best interests at heart. Can't recommend Caliber, and Sean in particular, enough. read more

Great experience! My car had a very broken mirror and they assessed it very quickly, ordered the parts needed, and called me when they arrived only a day later. I brought my car in & they fixed it in under 30 minutes. The estimated price was the exact price I paid, no surprises. Shawn was very helpful and even washed my car afterwards so it looks brand new. read more

Came here after my car got broken into for repairs, the staff was super friendly (shoutout Sean), definitely recommend!

I came to this location to get an estimate for my front bumper that was dislodged. Immediately I was greeted by friendly customer service by not only the lady at the front desk but also by Sean who was very courteous and efficient with my estimate. He even helped me with band-aiding the car with duct tape until I could get it properly repaired. I have no doubt my car would be taken well care of should I repair it there. Also, I had a previous repair there about a year ago and the gentleman who assisted me at that time (Hayk?) was also extremely kind and helpful, going above and beyond normal service. Plus, I feel their rates are reasonable. I highly recommend this place for autobody repair. read more

The staff was professional, friendly, and communicative, keeping me updated every step of the way. The quality of their work was exceptional--my car looked brand new, and they even detailed it inside and out before returning it to me. It's clear they take pride in their craftsmanship and truly care about customer satisfaction. I can't recommend Caliber Collision highly enough--they've earned a lifelong customer! read more

The guys working on the cars were great. The woman at the front desk goes out of her way to be unhelpful.

I have used this particular Caliber Collision three times now, and for good reason - they are the best. They offer great service and communication, but more importantly, they take pride in their work, and it shows. My Highlander SUV looked like it just came off the assembly line. I highly recommend this CC shop and the team. read more

This place did a great job repairing my car. The job was completed before the date promised and returned cleaner than when I brought it in. All the employees are super friendly and willing to take the time to answer all questions and concerns. Hopefully I never have to come back here but if I do, I know my car will be in good hands. Thanks so much to Hayk and his team! read more

Under promise and over deliver was my experience! Had my 2015 Prius in for some elective bodywork and anticipated a week without the vehicle only to learn the car was delivered in two days... finished and even with detailing done to make it seem like 2015 was 2024! I brought in my new Mazda with scratches on the back panel - clearly it had scraped against a garage ceiling at some point. I expected to pay to have the whole panel repainted. But Sean saw that it was just paint transfer and quickly buffed it away for NO CHARGE. I was out in ten minutes, with my car looking like new, for free. Caliber Collision - Rear bumper fixed - Body Shops Near Me - Santa Monica, California

Cuu (Koo) helms the cleanest, friendliest, most well organized body shop in Los Angeles, if not the entire known universe. The neat rows of acres of cars in various stages of orderly repair beckon ones admiration under the stark light of a nursery. My minor Kia Optima Hybrid's bumper assessment and repair process was carefully administered with calls at every stage: including the first to Hertz for retrieval and delivery to my rental: a smokey Cruze I swapped out for a perky Kia Soul. The entire replacement and painting process took a mere three days. Who knew that was possible? Did I mention the good coffee and popcorn? read more

Caliber on Pico in Santa Monica has been our family's go to body shop having been there twice in 2024. It's one of those things in life you hope to avoid but when accidents happen Caliber is reliable and top notch with their service. Sean and Jack is who we've had pleasure of working with to get our cars fixed and back in service. Their thorough explanation, keeping us informed of progress or any setbacks, just that whole thing of setting expectations from start to finish just makes them real pros at what they do, not to mention the fantastic work they've done our cars. Like the emergency room in the hospital you hope to never go to but if you do you hope for good communication and to be treated right so you can go back to normal life, that's Caliber when it comes to their service. read more

I had a good experience here. *Good quality of work *Competitive estimate *Final cost was very close to estimate *Work was done in a timely matter. *Finished work in the time allotted. *They kept me appraised of the work progression via text. Fast, good, cheap Dropped my car off there on a Monday after an accidental self-inflicted door dent. Vazgen and crew made it easy: I can in for the inspection, left the car there, and a few days later picked it up. They're nice, smart people who did all the work and paperwork for me, the only thing I had to do was to sign three times and pay my deductible when I picked up the car. They even called an Uber for me after drop-off! read more

TLDR: Great shop and great employees. Happy with their service. I had my catalytic converter stolen and was initially sent to the Caliber Collision on 11th Street by my insurance. Long story short, I did not have a good experience there and asked my insurance to switch me to a different repair shop. I selected this location and hoped for the best. And they did a great job. Everyone was kind and on top of their stuff. Hayk was my estimator and he got the repair done within a day. He had my car cleaned and detailed and he even helped clean up a door scratch I got from something completely unrelated to the repair. He was really nice and went out of his way to make sure my car was taken care of. Just a note of suggestion to the shop: I do wish there was more communication to the customer about options/updates, analysis of damage, and if they can offer ride options to the shop. I didn't find out about a lot of it until after the fact, which bummed me out. I know part of that is because I didn't think to ask but I'm sure many other people would love the initiative. read more
