Took my car in and felt pretty good about my decision to use CC. Started working with one guy and then got switched to another. Probably received at least 6 disappointing calls stating something else had to be done (repaint due to poor match of color?) or other parts ordered and that Ford supposedly never had in stock. Took over a month to get my car back. Was always told they'd call me right back, but it was me who almost always initiated the calls. Once I did get my car back, the third seat still had glass in it. Was told they would make sure it was completely cleaned up. Just really disappointed overall. Will give them this, they were always nice delivery the bad news, although it felt like most of it was just excuses. Just wish at some point they would have started overnighting parts instead of waiting days to receive them. I hope I never need a body shop, but if I do, I'm not using them. read more

This is my second time in two years using Caliber. Larry helped me this most recent time and was awesome. He gave me updates consistently and finished the job on time just as promised. He even stayed late so that I could grab my car before going out of town. I cannot say enough great things about Caliber Collision and Larry. The entire staff was helpful each time I called. read more

They don't even deserve this one star. Their workers went through my purse that was in the car and stole many items. Do not use them to repair your car. Ever. read more

Update to 1st review: After a massive failure on our repair, the management became involved and went above and beyond to correct their mistake and cover some of the cost. A new manager has taken over and they are in the process of bringing this site back up to the level of customer satisfaction it once was known for. We appreciated their efforts and recommend giving them a chance but if there are any issues, ask for the Center or Regional manager who appear to be sincere in their efforts to satisfy their customers and deliver quality. read more

Let me preface with this "They did not perform any work on our vehicle!" My husband's truck was sent here after an accident as our insurance had an onsite adjuster. While we waited for the adjuster last week, a woman came in, clearly upset over having been without her vehicle for 2 months while this repair place had it. She left in tears after trying to communicate her frustration to the technicians and manager, as we waited in the lobby, unintentionally overhearing the exchange (it's a small lobby). When she left, the 3 "gentlemen" involved laughed and joked at her expense. Yes, she was upset. Yes, she was forceful. Yes, she was put out by the circumstances. BUT they had all the power in this situation and they were visibly unsympathetic to her situation while she was there. Then they laughed and joked about it when she left. This is no way to act, let alone when other customers are sitting in your lobby! If our truck had not been totaled, we would have asked to take it to another location. Clearly getting a vehicle back in a reasonable time is not a high priority, nor is making your customers feel valued. read more

Stopped by today as I had rubbed my fender up against my garage door and it left a streak of white. Was hoping they could maybe buff it out. I spoke to Pho Tran, Service Advisor. He said he'd try to get it out with some remover and, after waiting just 5 minutes, he got it completely out! Great job and I really appreciate the fast, courteous service!! Definitely recommend this location and Pho Tran!! read more

I had not so great experience with Calliber in Preston Road, Frisco. I was told the work would be done in a week or 10 days. I was told I would be constantly updated with the progress. I got a couple of messages in the first 2 days and that's it. After 10 days when i called i was told the part initially ordered was not correct and they are re-ordering. I trusted them initially but then soon i knew they were making "Disney" fantasy stories. Next was another part had cracked while fitting and they had to reorder. This missing and breaking part stories continued for 3 weeks ! Each time I was told by the rep they would call me back which never happened. I had to personally go there few times to see what was happening and the 'fantasy" stories were re-told with a twinkle in the eye. Once the story was so absurd that I had to tell my car did not even have that issue which the story being told had. I lost money in rental, time lost in zillion follow ups. We expect better service from reputed and expensive repair shops and this was worse than a "mom & pop" store. At least "mom & pop" is family, these guys treat you like stepchildren. they treat you like a dumb customer as Adam C mentioned above. read more

Doesn't care about people, your just another car to them. Because they are "so busy" due to hail they don't need your business. They are in total conjunction with the insurance companies it is awful. I'll take their own advice and take my $9,000 repair elsewhere- thanks. I wish more people took the time write reviews so I could have avoided the headache. read more

Caliber was expensive and did not complete the work they promised properly. I have had similar work done for half the price. I will not use Caliber Collision again. read more

After a freak encounter with a badly sliced golf ball flying at me from the driving range at Plantation Resort, I managed (somehow??) to run my car into the curb. The damage was more than I ever could have imagined and I was sickened, primarily because it was a new car that we had picked up from the dealership for my husband just 4 days prior!! At the suggestion of two very kind "good Samaritans", I had the car towed to Caliber Collision in Frisco, on Preston Near Rolater. Thus my wonderful relationship with Manny was founded!! Because I was so traumatized by the fact that I had badly wrecked my husband's beautiful car, Manny provided not only perfect, professional service; but kindness and hand holding that made me feel every so less horrified by the whole incident. Upon inspection, my husband noticed that the front bumper paint color was off by a smidge; and, Manny in his true nature made it right, practically overnight. I see now why two strangers had so highly recommended Caliber Collision and I was just fortunate enough to have Manny serve as my Service Manager. The whole experience, from having the car towed after hours on a Saturday, lucking out with a wonderful employee who happened to be there to receive it, to the managers of the location agreeing instantly to the re-painting of the bumper. Then, of course, there's Manny! Manny, Manny, Manny; I cannot thank you enough for your expert, exceptional, patient and comforting service!!! If you have the misfortune of "dodging" a golf ball on Lebanon Road and crash you car into the curb, have it taken to Caliber Collision. This coming from someone who's, unfortunately, had to exercise the services of a body shop on just two other occasions; and, received far less in terms of service, speed and thoroughness of repair. read more

Went in to get and estimate done talked to Aaron for an estimate. I got rear ended and told him what was wrong with the car also my trunk was bent so it would make sense for a body shop to fix it right?? Well long story short I got an email with an estimate but the trunk was not included so I called the office and they apologize for making a mistake and Tom the office "manager" will follow up. When Tom called I asked why was the trunk wasn't included Tom said he was going to be dealing with me even if Aaron did write up the estimate. Well when I asked Tom why the trunk was not included he said I would need to bring it in AGAIN for him to make sure the trunk is damaged after they took pictures and the original guy Aaron said it was damaged. What's up with the run around or confusion. I thought a body shop should relieve you from all this stress. But all what Tom and caliber did was bring in more stress and make me believe if they cannot get an estimate write up right. Then why should I even bother by giving them the car to fix let alone the business. I had a horrible experience with Tom and his unprofessional ism. Never going back and telling everyone that's not a place to take your car. Forget caliber choose herb or service king. read more

Our daughters car was rear ended 11/30 and I was told to take to it SF claims center in Allen. I thought I would get an estimate or two before driving over to claim center just to get an idea of price. I looked at yelp after reviewing my insurance carriers web site and saw Caliber listed as an approved repair facility. I had an initial good first impression when I walked in lobby and then introduced to Trent who worked with my insurance carrier on repairs and I couldn't have been more pleased with attention to detail and a genuine desire to make it easy on me. I did not have to drive to Allen claims center, yea! He handled it 100% with my insurance and made sure that we know we could get a rental car right next door at Enterprise, easy. The car was in about 10 days and was updated via texts per my request. We got it back 12/31 as promised and it all went smoothly. I also liked guarantee on repairs. When your cars damaged it's stressful anyway and I appreciated Trent making my life a lot easier. read more

Had a great experience at caliber. Mike McNeil really took care of me. I was told by a different shop that the bumper would have to be completely replaced. Turned out to not be true. Thanks Mike and thanks Caliber. read more

RIP OFF! Took car in on Tuesday (my appointment). They called at closing on Friday to tell me work would begin the following Monday. I asked them how much (my insurance company quoted $1600) and Caliber said $5200! I told them not to touch my car and I'd be down there first thing Monday to pick it up. When it arrived it was totally disassembled. Caliber, my insurance, and I argued for two days before I could get my car back. I took it in there for one large hail ding and Caliber claimed I had "325 quarter size" dings which was a lie. Then they claimed they fixed them the week before. My insurance company rolled over and paid them the full amount, I got my car back, but when they reassembled it the headliner is screwed up. Don't trust these guys. read more

Picked up my son car an didn't drive it five miles before it overheat. It was clear they didn' t test drive the vehicle. I had to return which took another day to fix it. Four weeks later, the car got it first car wash. My son noticed all the overspray paint on this custom rims. Clearly the rims need to be replaced from the overspray paint. read more

Should have know this was not going to go well the moment I walked in. I had selected this location as recommended by my insurance company. When I walk in I'm kind of half greeted but I said I was there to leave my car and that they should have received the assignment from my insurance. Receptionist says it's normally appointment only and I am then asked if the car is drivable wanting to suggest I leave and take it somewhere else. No not drivable so they ended up taking the car. Was given a completion date of 2 weeks. Received daily updates until day before completion due date. Had to call and was then told it would be the next day due to some issue. Called that next afternoon and was told car was ready and to come and pick it up. Several hours later got a call that they gave me the information on the WRONG CAR (???) and that mine in fact was not ready and was told again it would be the following day due to a different issue. That day rolls around (Friday) and was now told it would be Tuesday of the next week. Well Tuesday has come and gone and three weeks later still no car. Staff does not seem to know what they are doing. I sat on hold for 10 minutes waiting for someone to come to the phone and no one ever picked up. Bad thing about all of this is I am out of state so my travel arrangements depend on when they say my car is ready. I've come back twice and both times car not ready. Only plus is that after two weeks of waiting they provided a rental for me which I am still driving. I would not be so upset if they would just be honest about the time frame. If you still had another week of work left then say that. Don't give the impression it will be ready tomorrow and then another tomorrow and another tomorrow and another tomorrow. It just seems like three plus weeks is a long time when the most major of the repair is put on a new hood and have a windshield installed. I wish I would have gone with my gut the day I walked in because I surely do not want to give this place my money or the money of my insurance company. read more

After my truck got hit I took it to Caliber Collision on Preston Rd. in Frisco and when I got my truck back, my battery was completely dead and so i took it back to them considering I get a lifetime warranty and they refused to pay for it and told us we will wait to hear back from our ins. company and that may take a few days, they then refused to give me a rental car until I heard back from the ins. i told them that fact of the matter is I gave you my truck with a working battery and when i got it back it was not. I spoke to the manager and when he denied us a car we called corporate who said the same thing. I then had to take my truck somewhere else and pay for a new battery since i could not go a few days without a form of transportation. I am very displeased with the way they treated me and will NOT be going back. read more
