I was on I-55 and was rear-ended into the car in front of me in stop and go traffic. The rear bumper needed to be replaced, but the front just had some spider fractures on it. I took them to DG Auto Rebuilders and they made my car look brand new. They even took care of some scratches on the car that were not a part of the accident. When I asked them about them, they said they had the opportunity to do it on the side and decided to toss it in for free! They then asked about my passenger side mirror (which had the casing knocked off from a hit-and-run). I told them that I had bought the mirror online and was waiting for an opportunity to put it on after a friend of mine got around to painting it. He said they would be able to take care of it. When I asked him how much that would run me he said "Nothing. We have some paint left over from when we repaired your bumper, might as well use it." What stand up guys. They have surely won the business of my family and me for a long, long time!

After telling him how someone spray-painted my car in Houston, he simply grabbed some rubbing alcohol and went to work to remove the spray paint from my car and I had the original color back. I was expecting I'd have to repaint that part of the car, but Josh removed the spray paint in about 3 minutes. He could have taken me to the cleaners and charged me hundreds of dollars for a paint job or touch up, but instead removed the spray paint in about 3 minutes. When I asked him what I owed him, he said don't worry about it. I still offered him $50 because I was so happy he fixed my car so quickly, but he amiably declined. When I addressed it, he denied servicing my vehicle, despite clear evidence and confirmation moments earlier that the oil change was performed there. Instead of handling it like an honest professional, he became hostile, aggressive, and threatening--raising his voice, using profanity, and telling me to "get the hell off of his property" or he would call the police. This occurred in front of my toddler and escalated very quickly. I remained calm and called the police myself, as I had done nothing wrong but expected my property to be treated with respect and care. Only after officers arrived did he agree to fix the damage, stating he just wanted it to "go the f***k away." The issue was eventually corrected, but it was done reluctantly, with no apology or accountability. The customer service was extremely poor and unprofessional. I am giving 2 stars because I have had positive experiences here in the past. However, this incident--particularly the lack of honesty, transparency, and professionalism--was unacceptable.
