My car was a bit old, so it seemed to me mostly like a financial decision from the insurance company. I took it to DeLand Collision center after taking it to another place. Their estimate was lower and the people seemed friendlier, plus it came well recommended from my very trustworthy mechanic I've used over several years. They returned the car to me a week before their original estimate with the area looking better than when it was new. I asked them if they could help me fill out some paperwork from the DMV, which is necessary to get the vehicle back on the road and they were nice enough to help me with that, even though they could have said no. When they were done, I asked if they could keep the car there one extra day because my family was sharing a car between a few people and they happily accommodated. I could tell that the gentleman who worked on the vehicle was really proud of the work they did, he met me outside when I got there and went over the repair. You can tell when someone really takes pride in the work they do, and it showed on the result. I've owned a lot of cars over the years and had to unfortunately deal with collision work before. God forbid I have to go through more collision work again, but I'm taking it there.

The vehicle was returned to me, and within one week the head gasket failed. Shortly afterward, my insurance company determined the vehicle was a total loss. While I cannot prove that every item listed on the invoice was not performed, the condition of the vehicle after the repairs left me with serious concerns about the quality and completeness of the work. After spending thousands of dollars, I expected the vehicle to be returned in a safe and reliable condition. What made the experience even more frustrating was how the situation was handled afterward. The shop advertises a warranty and states that they stand behind their repairs, but when I sought assistance regarding the mechanical failure that occurred immediately after the work was completed, I was given the runaround rather than meaningful support. In my experience, the warranty did not provide the protection that was represented. Additionally, the man working in the office alongside Laura was consistently disrespectful and unprofessional during my interactions with the business. He stated he completed the work himself and " knew there wasn't anything wrong " then proceeded to ask me " what's wrong " I gave him his tone of voice back stating " I'm not a mechanic but I can smell coolant " The shop revised their work and returned the car with me a second time/third time. Whenever I received the car back the 3rd and final time, I drove 12 miles before the coolant leaked completely out and blew the head gasket. Between the significant repair bill, the major engine failure shortly after the vehicle was returned, the lack of accountability, and the poor customer service, I cannot recommend this shop. Most recently Timothy repaired damage on my mom's 2015 BMW Z4, including the passenger side rocker panel and front bumper area. The car came back looking absolutely brand new. The attention to detail, paint match, body lines, and finish quality were excellent. You honestly cannot tell the vehicle was ever damaged. Timothy clearly takes pride in his work and did the repair correctly instead of rushing through it. What impressed me even more was the professionalism. This was a mobile repair at the house, and right before he arrived a large tree removal crew showed up next door with lifts, equipment, noise, and workers all around the driveway area where he was supposed to work. Instead of complaining or getting flustered, he calmly worked through the distraction, stayed focused, and still completed the project on schedule with excellent results. My mom is 90 and still enjoys driving her BMW Z4, so let's just say it's good to have someone trustworthy like this in the Rolodex when life happens. Fair pricing, quality workmanship, convenience, and professionalism are getting harder to find these days. This was our second time using C.A.R.S., and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing bodywork or paint repair. Five stars well deserved.

If this was mentioned prior to the service I would be fine, but it wasn't. I guess to summarize my feedback: * Over-communicate what is and what isn't included on the service. * Make sure people understand what they are missing out for not going to a proper body shop space. * I'd suggest doing a second visit for so that the sanding and waxing can be done properly and so that any missing imperfections can be fixed. It clearly was for the entire back bumper and a chunk of paint missing from one rear door. Dropped off the vehicle...told it would be Thursday or Friday when done, but we get all call a day later saying come get it. First, we pull up, and the vehicle is backed up against the building. Odd since the rear bumper and one back door is what I want to see. I walk to the back door and can clearly see the damage has not bee repaired at all, they just slapped paint on it - not even the right shade and no clear coat. I walked around the back to see the bumper and it is ok...but then again it was ordered in the right color in one piece. I look at the back window of my vehicle and my political bumper sticker has been taped over. So they wanted us to drive away with their vandalism and not notice. I pointed it out and the guy says "HAHAHA I wondered if you would notice". YEAH I NOTICED. Not amusing. Also highly UNPROFESSIONAL and IRRESPONSIBLE. I saw their political affiliation in their shop - not my business, and certainly not something I would discount doing business with someone for - until now. Gee thanks for removing the charges for a repair you didn't do in the first place. WOW. Week after week, my attempts to follow-up or receive updates went either completely unaddressed or were met with infinite excuses. Any update I did receive only arrived after weeks of unanswered texts and calls, and would pertain not to my vehicle, but to the seemingly infinite number of reasons why he could not work on my car. Even then, no accountability, apology, or legitimate alternative timeline was ever provided.
