Shops policy is to schedule an appointment where you leave the vehicle. .At that time an estimate of damages is done and the vehicle remains at the shop until work is completed.This could result in a delay of days to weeks until the vehicle is returned.Not efficient for the customer and if a rental vehicle is needed a significant unnecessary expense for the customer or the insurer. GEICO gave me the option of two repair places nearby but because this was was convenient by a day earlier to be repaired, we chose Caliber Collision and we couldn't be happier. Very courteous, attentive and professional staff to greet you as you enter. The manager, TONY MANDELLA appeared and introduced himself and went over all the particulars about the damage to the SUV and guided us through the repair needed to be done. He also was very professional and personable, We were told approx. 5 business days and it was done a day earlier. He would call along the process if there were changes to be made with the cost, but it was only a $100 difference that was necessary after the final inspection. Got the call a few days later and we were very pleased again with the process. I just showed up and within 10 minutes, we had the repair shown to us by Tony and explained what had been done..as you can see in the picture. We were very pleased. Couldn't tell we were in a fender bender just a few days earlier. It was approximately $2400. Worth every penny We signed the papers and we were on our way. What a pleasure doing business with them. Was very impressed by the whole process there and the care from the staff. Car rental: The rental car rep from Enterprise was there to go over the details of the car and contract with us. The only thing I would caution anyone is not to take the approximate additional $19 daily fee of insurance despite how heavy they push this. GEICO at another time advised me against such a thing. There was no need. Well, that saved me a few bucks. It is something I don't appreciate, scare tactics about the IF'S in an accident when using the rental. I'm covered. I've gone through this last year. My insurance wouldn't charge me another deductible as said by Enterprise. Other than that, the SUV was there, ready for us to take and I did appreciate their thoroughness. It was a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe. Great replacement to have for the few days. My car had the rear bumper backed into in a parking lot. The other driver admitted fault. Their insurance company paid for everything. I selected Caliber Collision in Bonita Springs on old Hwy 41. They did an outstanding job. The check in to have the damage evaluated was done promptly at my appointment time. They said it appeared I'd have the car back in 3 days. I got it back in 2 days. The bumper looked brand new as did my car since they washed the car and vacuumed the inside. They sent me texts each day to update the status. This place is HORRIBLE!!! We had the misfortune of being hit twice in a two month period with a brand new Honda. After we got the car back the first time, it was perfect and they did a lot of work (over $13K I believe). My car was hit in the front and back the morning after I bought it. I had under 50 miles on it so believe me, I checked everything! Tony was amazing with communication and quality control, it was good as new. The 2nd accident, we were rear ended again and this time we were dealing with Dave. Needless to say, the did really bad job on the paint, dent repair and too many other items to list here. All Dave wanted to do was argue with me that it "wasn't their problem" and they can't get it perfect. Funny Tony did the first time and that repair was much bigger. He's also one of those guys who are very condescending to women. The manager came out, not really much of a problem solver. So much for that quality guarantee. Now I have a brand new car with numerous flaws in the paint, a horrible tinting job in the window that is on the new gate that they installed, a few dents that whoever installed the new back end causes putting it on and other issues. They don't deserve a 1. I've had my truck there 4 times to fix my door, they lie lie lie. They damaged the head light broke the window on the door never told us we noticed it was not the brand new window as others on our brand new truck. Over a month, more like month and half and it's still not done right. The paint didn't match the 1st, 2nd time a new dent in the door, they got a new door didn't tell us for over a week and two weeks later we finally got our truck back and the window is not ours, now that has to be replace. They lie lie lie and can't do a good job. Don't go. Waste of time and $. read more

Saturday morning went to get a third estimate for damages to my front bumper. Mike was there and looked over the damages told me what they could do for me and wrote up a quote. Asked if I could drop it off Monday morning. He said sure, will have a Patricia write it up so you can drop it off at your convenience. Monday morning Matt and Patricia were in the front office. Matt came out reviewed what was to be done and went back in to sign the paperwork when Mike says how was your doctors appointment this morning. (I was impressed he remembered). First thing Tuesday morning Matt calls the car is finished ready to be picked up. Great news go to pick it up, deep scratches and paint marks are all gone, paint job is perfect looks brand new like nothing every happened to it. Matt walks me out to the car and I ask him if he could help me put windshield washer fluid in because I didn't know how. He gets it out of my trunk fills it up and notices a dead palm rat behind the engines and disposes it for me. They were recommended to me by 3 individuals in my community, that speaks volumes for me.
