I have been here several times. The first two times I paid $55 for a Deluxe pedicure with Gel polish. Both those times I paid $55 each time. Then I returned for the same pedicure and gel mani each time paying $80. The last time I tried a dip mani on my real nails and paid $35 (without a pedi). I visited yesterday to have my dip mani removed and re done. I then added on a gel deluxe pedi. The gentleman totaled me up at the end and I ended up paying "$100 even" as he said. I also tipped thinking "Well they probably raised prices." So I decided to call back today and check on prices. The gentleman that did my nails yesterday answered so I asked him "What are your prices for gel pedi and dip mani. It should have totaled $80 according to his numbers. I do not like their dishonesty and their lack of consistency. You get what you pay for there with their cheap pedi specials. The quality of their pedicures and manicures are not up to par like surrounding places. I won't be back. read more

Traveling through the area, needing a manicure and dip, I selected Cali Nails based on location and timing. Every employee I encountered was pleasant and professional, also the salon is extremely clean! There was steady stream of clearly repeat clients, yet I was treated no differently as a first timer. Do not go here! They do not sanitize stuff properly- they used the same file on my toenails that they used on everyone before me, and I now have toenail fungus for the first time in my life. Wanted stiletto nails and got these ugly pointy almond shaped nails with acrylic and one color nail polish.. my nails were kind of grown out, like most nail salons they clip your nails before they start. They definitely did not do that. Felt rushed even though it was just me, my friend and maybe three other people that were there. They also messed up my friends nails. She wanted stiletto nails as well and the women working on her cut them too short and said she couldn't do them. I was charged 40$ and tipped 5$ cause I'm well mannered. Won't ever go back. I have been going to this salon for well over a year. While the new place is pretty, I have to add that the quality of employees is suffering to keep up with demand. I always tip $20 even when I'm not very happy. But this last time took the cake he did my nails and she asked if I wanted to make them shorter. He took finger nail clippers and made them shorter than my own finger nails. This is the first time, I have actually considered complaining to the owner. read more

The mani / pedi came out fine. And I like the massage chair. The reason why this business is getting ONE star from me is the following: Their sign says $38 for mani / pedi. That is the price I expected to pay. During the pedicure, the woman who can't (or pretends she can't---- not sure) speak english, gestures to the buffer in her hand in my heals. (Like, "Would you like me to buff your heals?") I nod "yes" because every pedicure I've ever had in my life ... they buff your heals! When it's time to pay, she says something in Chinese to her coworker and he says, 'You have to pay $42. Because she did your heals." I was completely taken aback. After tonight's visit I will never go back. I have went here for years and spent hundreds of dollars with them but tonight I went for a pedicure. I waited patiently for 25 minutes for them to get to me. When they did they did my nails and then put me under dryer. After 2 mins she told me I was done. I obviously knew my nails were not dry and said I'm going to sit for another min. 2 mins later she came up to me and told me I need to take my shoes and go. I explained it was raining and would rather not walk out in the flip flops they provide. She made me leave and said it was closing yet there was 15 mins till closing. The people were rude, they didn't have a variety of polish to choose from, the worker complained about their back hurting most of the time, they placed my feet and hands upon another person's nails they had clipped earlier. I felt rushed when there was only me and two other people present. My nails were left jagged to where I had to go home and file them myself. Worst salon. Literally watched one of the employees move from 3 different customers with NO gloves on, and NEVER washed his bare hands before touching the next persons feet and hands. The utensils were never sanitized between the customers, and I watched them use a CHEESE GRATER on a ladies feet to remove excess skin! I was so disgusted with the whole place i got up and walked out before they could finish my pedicure. NO stars should be given for this kind of busniess. read more
