Love the haircut I feel like a million $ Thank you! @Polloblendz & Friendly vibes and staff! Definitely bringing my sons next time

Just got another haircut from these good people. Although the place was packed (not surprising here, especially on a Saturday), Marcos was somehow able to see me immediately. Every barber here has been thorough and took their time to do the the job right and to my specific requests; and the friendly and professional Marcos was no exception. I am happy to be a recurring customer here, and I highly recommend their work. Thank you, Cali Cuts! read more

I was in a big hurry! Oscar was fast and gave me a great cut. Clean, simple, and exactly what I asked for. Friendly and great price.

The reviews won't let you down on this one. As other reviews stated that they might get busy, especially on the weekends, I called ahead to see if they were busy and/or if I could get an appointment. The lady on the phone said they were busy, and asked me if I wanted my appointment with anyone specific. I explained that I had never been there before, so whoever as fine, and set my appointment up for about 2 hours later. I showed up about 10 minutes early, and they weren't very busy at all. Each barber was with a customer, but I was the first person in line. There was a steady stream of people who came in and set up appointments with their favorite barber, and walked out. It's probably a good idea to try to get an appointment if you need to. I ended up with Mario. While I briefly chatted with some of the other barbers and they were perfectly nice, Mario was super cool and really personable. All of the barbers here seem to have a good time and joke with each other pretty well. I came in with a full beard, and not having had a haircut in way too long, and didn't really have a specific idea of exactly what I wanted to do, but gave Mario some general ideas about keeping my goatee, and maybe just cleaning up the rest of the beard, while getting a taper-cut for the top. First thing Mario did freaked me out a little bit... He completely removed he hair at the top of one of my sideburns. My first thought was, "F@%#! I should have told him to keep the sideburns!", My next thought was, " Well - too late now. Just have to let him do it at this point and it will grow back." However, he ended up just separating my hairline/sideburns a little bit. Something I never would have thought to ask for, but it sure looks damn sexy now. Mario continued to cut the hair, shape the beard, and very skillfully used a straight razor to clean up all of the edges. All the while, we had a pleasant conversation, and laughed with each other. All for $20. In the end, I found my new barber, and came home to a very pleasantly surprised fiancee. She suggested that I take the time to make sure I go visit Mario every 3 weeks or so. I haven't visited a barber on a regular basis for quite some time now, so we will see. However, next time I need a barber, it will be Mario. read more

Just returned from this place with a fresh to death haircut. Luis is an artist at his craft, giving me a full-service haircut for a great price. They were even playing American Hustle on the TV while I was getting my cut so I wouldn't have minded waiting too. read more

This one stars it has nothing to do with the barbers . I have nothing bad to say but good things but I been going and it's been hot and there is no a.c at times I have to sit there for 3 hours because I take the kids and as we are waiting we are sweating we are not in summer yet but it gets really hot the owner needs to fix the ac and maybe then I'll change it to 5 stars again how can he even have the barbers there without ac it's also not fair for them .... read more

Right off the top I must say, I am a hair cut snob. I have been spoiled with barbers for a long time now. I recently moved to Simi Valley and they couldn't cut it. I literally tried ever barber shop in the city with no success. I decided to start looking and came across Cali Cuts and unless I move away, I am not going anywhere else. Oscar has cut my hair twice now and after my most recent visit, my wife told me it was the best hair cut I have ever received. Their perfect rating is no joke and I highly recommend this spot. read more

I just moved to Simi Valley and was looking for a barbershop. Every barbershop that seems good around my area is closed on Monday. I took a drive to Chatsworth since it's not too far. I found this place online. I walked in and wasn't greeted or acknowledged. I waited for about 15 minutes and two other customers walked in. I got skipped not once but twice. I asked if they had a list where I'm supposed to sign in and one of the barbers did say he would help me out next but at that time I decided that I'll take my money somewhere else. Customer service here is horrible, and it needs some kind of structure to do better business. read more

I walked in here last week for the first time and was attended by Luis, who is also the owner. It was a bit surprising seeing a young man running his own barbershop/business in Chatsworth but after having a nice talk with him, I see how he did it. He's a hard working man and as far as his work goes, it was probably the best haircut I've ever had. I was at my mom's house shortly after and her instant reaction was something like "OMG, who cut your hair?". She knew right away that it wasn't done by my usual barber. Luis is very fast and is extremely talented. I am loving my hair right now! read more

I have been shaving my son hair all his life, Now that he is 14 years old and in High School, he wants a hair style, this place his amazing, they did such a great job espically when my son has cowlick. My son and I are really happy with the results. Will be back again. read more

oscar and Luis are the best barbers in the 818. You are guaranteed to leave satisfied , way better than "A cut above" on topanga.

Came in this morning to Cali Cuts for the first time and I was not disappointed. I've been looking for a good barber shop that was welcoming and of course can cut hair. I was a walk-in and had no trouble getting a seat right away with Mario. Told him the trouble I was having looking for barbers to give me exactly what I wanted and he made me feel very comfortable while listening to what I wanted.(Always key to explain what you want or you obviously won't get it.) Once he was done I knew I had found the barbershop I'd be returning to in the valley. Quite a trip since I live in South Central. I definitely recommend this place to everyone out there looking for a fantastic shop with awesome talented barbers. Do yourself a favor, stop by and get that fresh cut you've been wanting. read more
