Great Electrician -Cali Coast Electric. Wouldn't you know it, our bedroom fuse that affects master & guest bedroom blew last night at 10pm. We tried everything but breaker wouldn't stay on. Contacted Cali Coast Electric 951-233-4113. I told him about our problem but said we could wait to next day. He was here at 7am. He found the culprit, our ceiling fan, in 10 min. Since neither of us had a replacement fan we will have him come back to install a guest room ceiling fan. He didn't even charge us for this call. He was timely, courteous, wore a face mask ( as did we). And he lives in Menifee!! read more

We had a GCFI in our kitchen go out. This was on Memorial Day. So I went to Yelp to find a licensed electrician. We had used a handyman that said he knew electric. Well not only did Cody find the problem (wasn't the GCFI) but he changed out another outlet that was on a different circuit to a GCFI. We happen to have a GCFI because my husband thought he could change it. He also repair an outlet by our pool. He was excellent, didn't charge us an arm and a leg and we'll be calling him to replace the wiring to the pool. read more

I would give this company 10 gold stars! Cody and his partner arrived on time, in fact, on the dot! They installed several GFI plugs, replaced a dimmer light in the dining room that wasn't working, and updated a hard-wired smoke alarm that was not working. They were very efficient, professional and pleasant! Cody gave me a discount also, which was very much appreciated. They checked everything out to make sure all was working as it should before they left. I had problems with the TV not working later, and asked them if it might have anything to do with the GFI switches. Cody said it should not affect the signal, but offered to return if the problem continued. It turned out it was a Frontier TV problem which had nothing to do with them, but wasn't it nice that they were concerned and offered to come back? These are good people, honest and trustworthy. Cody from Cali Coast Electric is awesome! The built-in microwave at my daughter's stopped working. My husband and another gentleman tried to trouble shoot the issue but neither are really comfortable working with electricity. They switched the breakers.... nothing. I called Cody and he answered right away and told me he would be able to stop by there on his way home from another job that same afternoon. He asked me if we checked the breakers as he did not want to charge me for a service call if that was the issue. I assured him we had and implored him to come. When Cody arrived, he looked things over and then went to the breaker box and low and behold, one of the breakers was stuck in off position and it was barely perceptible. He tripped the switch and checked the outlet. Turns out the 1-year old microwave was the problem and not the outlet. He suggested we call a GE repairman as the microwave is not very old and save ourselves $500 to replace it. All in all, he resolved the issue in less than 5 minutes and did not charge me for the call! Not only was he kind, friendly and knowledgeable... I will forever call Cody and Cali Coast Electric for all my electrical needs! Thanks Cody!! You're the best! read more

I don't write reviews often, so the fact that I'm writing this is testament to the fantastic job done by Cali Coast Electric. We hired Cody Harstock from Cali Coast Electric to run power out to our landscaping project, run conduit and outlets inside our patio structure, wire and install some outlets on our BBQ island, install a ceiling fan box and wire our water feature. They also did a bunch of other stuff, but all that doesn't matter. What does matter is the top notch service they provided. Cody was prompt to respond to our request for a quote and his prices were very competitive. We had contacted several electricians to request quotes and Cody was the only one to reach out to our landscaper to get a better idea of what we really needed.
