Went to see J. Edgar on 12-12-11. Showtime listed and my ticket said 5pm. The projectionist didn't start the previews until 5:20. The actual movie didn't start until 5:40. I had to go out to the concessions area and asked them if there was a problem upstairs, and that I wondered if I misunderstood the start time. Other than cutting my time close for another commitment, my visit this time was still enjoyable. From my understanding, the $5 admissions promotion will end December 31. The admission price listed for Calexico 10 is $7.50. It's been $5, I believe, all this year(2011). read more

It's Calexico it's not a bad movie theater especially since it's only five bucks to get in. It's even seven dollars for 3-D. Back in the day when it first opened it was like wow we have a movie theater! But then they open the mall with the Cinemark 14 but I can say it's not bad they have lot of times and for the most part they are clean. read more

The movies are alright, seats are outdated and the arrangements is old as well. I really like the price here, always 5 dollars per movie. so this is worth 3 stars to me. Omg. Where to start with this place :/ 1.) Place is Dirty and just run down. Wrappers and trash EVERYWHERE! 2.) Staff is mediocre and not very friendly 3.) People are very inconsiderate of others. People were on their cells phones, texting on their bright screens, and kids were out of control and loud. I swear it's like people thought they were in their living room. GHETTO! I guess the Only good thing about his place is the $5 ticket price. $7 for 3D. Place is terrible. Never coming back. We got here early but there are no seats anywhere outside or inside ..crazy!!! We have been at many theaters and this is a first. Staff is not friendly and offer no options watching us just stand and wait for an hour....I would never recommend this place to anyone passing through. read more

This is the worst movie theatre that I've ever been to. The only thing that I was happy about was the price, $5 per movie. I liked that; but everything else was terrible. When I sat down, the movie was pretty good picture. When my feet touched the floor-ugh. The floor was greasy and sticky and it left my shoes a complete mess. The seats were also dirty. They don't even clean! Another thing was that there was no security, they don't check your tickets or anything. I saw a person leave the movie half way through, and come out of another movie. The service at the counter was unbelievably slow. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone in the area. read more

This place is completely unprofessional. We arrived a bit late for the 7:00 showing of Shazam and I had asked if the seats were full or not. The guy said only 36% was occupied. When we arrived to the room, it looked like it was completely full, keep in mind that this was opening show so it was expected. I walked back to ask them politely if I could change it to the 8:00pm showing and they all gave me extremely mean. The one that appeared to be the manager told us that we if we wanted to change it, we would have to wait indefinitely. Even one of the employees straight up walked away from us and told us to talk to someone else read more

Well although it has had some bad reviews I think it's reasonable for the amount you pay 5 dollars all day even new releases yes it's al little out dated but it's great for families on a budget the consestion stand is also reasonably priced and the staff is always friendly and helpful and bathrooms are always clean read more
