I was not a good candidate at that time to remain as a patient bc of time restraints. However, I strongly recommend this place for your chiropractic needs. The fact that they offer a free consultation demonstrates their commitment to patient needs. As a medical professional myself, I was so very impressed from walking into reception, to meeting Daniel, and leaving. This place is solid and I'm damn sad they are not located in Michigan!

Holy back crack Batman, this place is my dream come true!…read more I've been going for adjustments since I was a kid and have really seen the benefits throughout my life. I've been seriously slacking (aka, haven't gone for an adjustment since probably the late 90's) and I was really starting to feel the effect due to various things going on in my life. Being a pseudo-runner (and part time exercise buff-HA!), I somehow managed to pinch my sciatic nerve on my left hand side. Understanding that it stems from the lower back, I was feeling all sorts of annoying dull pain in two certain places on my leg and of course on the left side of my back. I've been to my GP and orthopedics to try and figure out ways to ease this pain, but left feeling unsatisfied with printed out pamphlets on ways to stretch it out. After doing a bit more research, I noticed that a sure fire way to improve my life would be to get back in to going to the Chiropractor and after two adjustments thus far I am already feeling a world of difference. In other words, no pain whatsoever!!! Buchanan Wellness is housed in the same office as Devonshire Dental, and I was in Devonshire Dental and decided to ask the receptionist for Buchanan Wellness about services offered. She was able to get me a consultation that same week and I was introduced to Dr. Jasmine as well. What a lovely doctor! Jasmine comes from a long line of Chiropractors (her entire family are Chiropractors) and she has loads of experience and knowledge, you can't help but feel comfortable and welcomed. She's calm and understanding and she listens to your needs and works with you to figure out a solution. She is great with educating her clients and gives you a little booklet to take home circling the areas of the spin that need attention and what organs the nerves attach effect. It makes so much sense!! For all you students out there, she offers a student discount and various payment options should you need multiple sessions for whatever ails you. Dr. Jasmine also offers massage therapy, and wellness workshops weekly for anyone who has questions about the benefits the chiropractor. I've been super busy with end of term papers and exam prep, so I've had to reschedule my appointment and already I'm missing my adjustments. I'm not feeling bad, but know how beneficial they are and very much appreciate that they help me feel like I'm on top of the world! I am a huge fan and highly recommend that you check out Buchanan Wellness. You'll be so glad you did!
I started going to Buchanan Wellness when I moved to Glasgow and every appointment has been great…read more Jasmine, the chiropractor, is very knowledgeable, patient, and friendly and her staff are great. Her hours in the evenings are perfect for a busy work and school life. I would very much recommend Jasmine to any person seeking to improve their physical well-being.
I usually prefer going to an osteopath when I have back problems as I find the process more gentle,…read morebut when my regular osteo moved out of town I discovered Dawn Blaser. Dawn is American, great fun, and a damn good chiropractor. I don't go to her very often, but when things get really bad she can usually have me straightened out in under 15 minutes and often in just one session. She doesn't mess about - a quick appraisal of your range of mobility, then it's onto the table for some serious crunching. Almost before you're even aware of what's going on, you suddenly find that you can move much better and things don't seem to hurt as much as when you came in. "It's just simple bio-mechanics," she says. She is fast, efficient, and very effective. Sadly not terribly cheap, but she is very, very good at what she does and is well worth the expense. I know she treats a lot of professional dancers and I hear nothing but praise from them about her, so that's as good an endorsement as you're likely to find.
I am not a big fan of chiropractic, and so this is reflected in my review. I had a sequence of…read moretreatments here, and was never satisfied that it was doing any good. I was never sure whether the system was based on anything other than faith. That said, Glasgow Chiropractic are very willing to offer support and help, and do free tasters and group lessons on how to manage the back. Personally, I got more out of massage and regular exercise, but one of the guys I saw (who sadly left) almost inspired me to a great degree of confidence. Sadly, it seems very much to depend on who you get, as the actual theory is not necessarily coherent.

Without going into to much detail I was in real pain due to an injury. I ended up at physio effect through a recommendation from a friend of my wife and I am glad that I did. Once going here I quickly got diagnosed and recommended treatment that helped me to recover. Jonny the physio explained things well and was friendly and helpful with the multitude of questions I had. He was also always available via phone or email if I had any concerns. If your looking for a physio then I would have no hesitation in recommending Physio Effect.
