Nowadays he's just as content to talk football with rotund individuals who've gone over on their ankle while playing for Inter Yer Maw at Townhead as he is dealing with proper athlete's injuries. With years of experience behind him, if Ricky can't get you on the road to recovery then it could well be time to hang up the boots. At least there's a pub next door to drown your sorrows.

He offers free initial consultations where he will chat through options and give you an honest appraisal as to whether he thinks he can help you or not. Appointments are 30 mins but if he has no appointment after you he regularly works on to try and help you more and there is no extra charge. He creates a relaxed atmosphere where you can chat about just about any topic under the sun whilst he does the essential work that needs done to help you. If you are used to a really formal setting you may be taken by surprise, but for me the chilled atmosphere is a huge plus. His aim is to get rid of you (feeling better of course).
