They never fixed anything in my apartment completely. They never answer their phone. No management is on site all week long so you can never reach anyone in person either. Homeless people lived behind the dumpsters quite often. They raised the rent on me by 300 dollars without notifying me. No communication or care for tenants at all. NEVER rent from Friar House Flats, you will be miserable. It was the worst 3 years of my life.

Was a year where they had to fix screw ups, so here we are 5 years later and those same shingles blew completely off the roof and they Winfield Homes say "OH yeah that happens, wind, act of God". You need to get that fixed on your own. When I told them it was the same issue within a few months of occupying the residence did they say "OH, I will call my boss and find out"? They only called us back because their supplier called them with the issue! Well heck never received a call back. So having an independent roofer come look that isnt associated with this builder and if they find the roof itself is an issue then there is going to be one heck of a problem. Oh by the way have a warranty on the roof so what does a roof warranty mean exactly? Because my warranty and who done what from Winfied homes says shingles has a 15 year warranty. This was our first build and we were pretty clueless on a few things with home building process, but with these 3 guys and their professionalism and expertise it was truly a great experience and we couldn't be happier with the way our home turned out. The quality of the build is exceptional and the best I've seen in a very long time. Winfield really cares about their work and the quality of their product unlike a few other builders in the area who just care about how fast they can get a house done. Thanks guys!

After 7 wks I received a note saying he was quitting, "he thought he had done enough work" although cabinets were not installed and window took approx only 1 hr to put in! Oh, he also refused to do 2 other things he said he would when hired but I was ok with that as I saw he was not professional and had no work ethic and so had not paid him. I am complaining to BBB and State of WI Consumer Dept about his " business".
