That's just for starters. They don't come, and they don't come and they don't come. I'm calling and calling to see when they're coming and finally, when someone does show up, it's NOT Brincks Exteriors; it's Larry, Moe and Curley Joe from some slipshod roofing company they've sublet my job to; without ever telling me. They took an iron railing down to start (without marking the sequence they had to be put back up), and a separate company had to be brought in to do that job, and finally did that at the end of this whole scenario, about 2 months from the start. The estimate I paid for was supposed to replace all the plywood on the 14' x 18' surface, and they only replaced about 5 or 6 sheets, if that. During the whole comedy routine, they poked a hole through the sheetrock down into my bedroom, which is below this porch. L, M & CJ Roofing offered to fix it, free of charge, but at this point, after all the hassle, I just wanted the job finished and them off my property. They used a very thin rubber roofing product (.002 or something like that) for a surface that is used for porch furniture and foot traffic, when it should've been a thicker, more suitable surface in order to last. These guys are general contractors; they didn't come and do any of the work - had I known how that was going to go, I never would've hired them!! Beware!

I first had Schroeder brothers in Sheboygan put in the windows…read morein the upper part of my home, very disappointing, had ice cycles hanging down where the window latches are, windows sometimes catch and have problems going down all the way and had them back twice for the bad caulk job and it still looks terrible. Because of being disappointed in Schroeder brothers I decided to go with a different contractor for my lower windows and I'm so glad I did, better price triple pane instead of double and much better workman ship. I only wish I would have had K-bee do all the windows in my house. I will post some pictures of the Schroeder brothers windows and of the K-bee windows and you can decide for your self which one you would want.

I can't say enough good about H AND S Roofing LLC. They replaced my roof last summer after I…read moresustained hail damage. That all went really well. The crew was quick, clean, and efficient. A supervisor came by a few days after the install to check the work and fixed a few areas that he felt "were not to H&S standards." Then, this spring, I noticed a small leak on an area that H&S hadn't even worked on (a rubber-sheeted area over my den. I called H&S out it. Dylan came out within a day, looked it over, applied some caulk, and said, "Let's keep an eye on it." I have NEVER had this sort of dedication from a roofing company! I am SO glad I hired a local, established firm to do my roof and not a group of "storm chasers." Knowing I can pick up the phone and get the same people who know my house means everything!
