Never have I wrote a review on a Dr. or their staff; but I could not let this one go. Dr. Kaplan,…read morewho was the Dr. there prior and his staff and entire office were amazing. I would not recommend the replacement Dr. nor the NP Laura. My visit with Laura was bizarre as she was aloof, appeared to care less about my concerns. Left that office feeling discouraged and was a total waste of my time and still feeling a bit unsure of my health concerns. I think back to 22 years ago when my Dad needed a cardiologist; and a friend referred Dr. Kaplan. Best decision ever made. Kind, concerned and took time to answer our questions. He then ended up being my Dr. as well. All that said, be very careful here. Both Dr. and NP couldn't hold a candle to prior Dr. I will not be returning.

I went to see Dr. Greenburg about the ole ticker and having a procedure done. He was very nice,…read morevery direct, and seemed very confident and wise about the issues and the procedure. The staff her was super friendly, tho the office seemed as tho it was just a skeleton crew. There is a lot of office that is empty and only a few folks inside the interior workings of the office. This location is an hour drive for us, but we wanted the best and this is where we were sent. He does have another office in Arlington that's closer, but needing the first available it required a drive to this Denton location. Place was clean, very quiet. Only glitch that we experienced was that the network was down and they couldn't take copayments at the time, we had to get billed.

I spent the entire year, being very concerned about my heart, because she kept having me come in…read morefor more tests. Would say things like, oh this is not good, we need to run a different test. In all I went in about 12 times for different tests or followups. Never really got answers. The equipment in the office is faulty. Stress test didn't work, and when they took my blood pressure a couple of different times it was off the charts, one time it errored out, and caused bruises, but when they checked manually it was good. (I don't have high blood pressure), the tech said "oh do you have a blood clot in the other arm?" What? Insinuating that I had a blood clot and that is what caused the error. The office staff is probably the worst I have ever encountered. They can't answer questions, and will literally lie with excuses. When I finally found a new cardiologist, (only because I needed clearance for a hip surgery) he was shocked at the amount of testing that was done. The only meds I am on is one aspirin a day and she told me exercise and eat healthy. Racked up alot of bills, because it was so excessive the insurance quit covering it. She also charges to talk to you on the phone. And will charge twice in one day, if you use the at home heart monitor. I think the dr is very knowledgeable and if I had actually had a problem maybe she would have helped me. But the staff and faulty equipment make the experience awful.

If I could leave a zero I would. I have been "seeing" doctor Farrah for over two months and I still…read morehave not met her in person. She has rescheduled multiple appointments and not shown up in person for several. I was forced to discuss detailed and discreet medical information while her nurse was holding a phone on speakerphone and the doctor was not there. Doctor tried to justify it as a one time occurrence but in my two months of over eight appointments, I have not been seen on time once. The minimum wait has been 40 minutes in office and over 90 minutes for phone appointments. If this is the baseline, I want a doctor that I can actually meet The nurses have absolutely no idea what they're talking about. At a minimum I think the nurses should be able to tell you what test they're doing and what they're looking for. The office staff could not tell me what they were looking for and had to Google what the tests were for. if you want to wait over an hour for every appointment this is the place for you if you want actual medical care run, don't walk. And they pay for good reviews, on my first visit they tried to get me to leave a five star review and offered me discounts on things if I did. Just be aware of what you're getting into with this provider.

I initially liked this place because they took me seriously about POTS, but they have honestly been…read moresuch a nightmare. They are way way way understaffed and overbooked (6+ months for a follow up appt) and always replying to you on their patient portal to call them, then absolutely never answer the phone or call back. I've run out of my medication several times waiting for refills because they won't refill it unless you call. They also really push a lot of expensive tests and gadgets you don't really need. TL:DR: Find somewhere that actually replies to calls/emails or you'll run out of meds repeatedly.

This has been the WORST experience - the office staff, the student doctors, and Dr. Suleman…read morehimself. My daughter has an appt in the summer; but the PA we were booked with left the practice, so the office CANCELLED our appointment. Ok, we rebooked for October. 1st appointment, my daughter tells the PA that she is hard of hearing; but can read lips if she speaks slowly to her. That did not happen. She spoke so quickly and was spewing a lot of information, my daughter couldn't understand so I stepped in to interpret. Unfortunately, it was a painful process because (1) I am not fluent and don't know the medical terms (2) the PA wouldn't slow down which made it impossible for me to keep up with her (3) my daughter was already overwhelmed and shut down. In the summary, the PA mentioned resources we were provided despite did not receiving them in office or in writing through the portal when requested. I asked for a female ASL interpreter when the testing appointment was booked, and was told it wouldn't be a problem. Leading up to the appointment, the front office called to schedule an appointment, despite already having tests scheduled. During one of the phone calls, I confirmed daughter is on the schedule and that the ASL interpreter was noted and would be there. The woman said she was unsure; but there was an employee that knows ASL and could interpret. We declined because she is not fluent, doesn't know medical terminology in ASL, and overall, not qualified. To this, the front desk woman said she would check with the doctor and office manager. My daughter provided a couple of websites they could use to request an ASL interpreter. A week went by and no update, so I submitted a request in the portal and was told "the office manager stated, you can provide someone for interpreter, but we don't have anyone in office certified." I provided them with the link from the ADA website informing them of their legal obligation to provide effective communication for all appointments when requested. There was NO EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION, NO ASL interpreter and NO other options for effective communication (a note-taker, printed instructions, assisted listening devices, TRS service, Video relay services, video remote interpreting, etc) presented. The day before she was to get the results, Dr. Suleman finally responded to my many requests for a return call and he was dismissive and argumentative. He stated his office has other means of communication but had no response when asked why it wasn't offered when we asked for an interpreter. The day of a virtual appointment for the test results, Dr. Suleman was a no show and called my daughter 2 hours later and asked her to re-join the link. When that didn't work, he said he would have the office quickly send another link... that was 10 days ago and still no link and no response after 8 days to my written request for a status update through their message portal. Now we have completed tests and the results uploaded; but no doctor notes or official diagnosis; which was the whole point of the testing. Our daughter flew in specifically for the appointments with Dr. Suleman's office and was completely dismissed, gaslighted, and uncared for.
