Popped in here to get some work done one afternoon when my wifi went out. Glad to know another local spot to go for remote work if needed. Staff members were friendly, and it seemed to be a hangout spot for many generations of people. Only had tea since I rolled in after 12 PM and I'm that person who can't sleep if I have caffeine past then (sucks, I know), so I can't comment on the coffee. But the tea was loose leaf, and they let me know the steep time. They even topped me off for a second dose when I finished the first. Wifi was spotty, and I learned quickly why most people using it were in the back room. I attempted to set up in the front room, but it kept kicking me off. Moved to the back room, and no issues. Depending on your needs, just know it can get busy and loud in the afternoon between 2-3ish. Or at least that was my experience. This place was so sweet that I had to come out of my Yelp retirement to talk about it. The staff were so kind, friendly, and funny. My friend wasn't sure what whipped cream she wanted so they offered to give her a sample of the different whipped cream to figure out which one she wanted. In a former clothing boutique in Market Square and dang, this new place is cute! It spans two storefronts with two individual spaces: 1 where the coffee magic happens with a tad of seating and locally-made merchandise (clothing, jewelry, small home goods, etc). The second room has an abundance of different seating nooks. Tables/chairs, window seats, cushy chairs and tons of board games. The service was great at the counter. For drinks, my kiddo and I ordered The Melissa and the specialty strawberry hibiscus juice. My son liked (but admittedly didn't love) his juice, but he did drink it all, so take a 10 yo's words with a grain of salt. :-) I do with they had a few more kid-friendly options to choose from. He is excited to try the hot chocolate once the weather cools. My Melissa drink was really great. I don't care for drinks that are way too sweet and I am happy to report that this drink was sweet but didn't overpower the espresso. The caramel was a legit salted caramel sauce instead of a syrup, which I prefer since syrups often have a chemical aftertaste. We sat and enjoyed our drinks while playing a round of checkers and it was an awesome hour of quality time in this cute space. I went a second time and got the hot macchiato, which was very good. The lid wasn't on all the way and I spilled it all over myself. Oops! While I was cleaning off in the bathroom, they brought out a fresh one for me without me even mentioning the spill. Good coffee, friendly staff and homey feel. There are craft and food items for sale as well as tee shirts. I ordered a peppermint mocha and bought 2 pair of earrings. Can't get that at Starbucks however the coffee was too sweet for my liking, too much whipped topping was the issue. read more

Not a coffee connoisseur-got a regular coffee while the partner got a Latte. Mine was outstanding-mellow and prepared to a good balance. Typically not a fan of this type of coffee shop most don't have a good basic coffee-forcing the drinker to add flavor it to make it drinkable. This one is above the others. read more
