However, I was recently disappointed to find that a large majority of vendors have begun selling items with AI-generated "artwork." I recognize the usage of AI as a practical tool but certainly not as a creative medium--especially when vendors charge $30 and above for "artwork" that a human didn't even create. I feel that selling AI-generated pieces is not only deceptive but a poor reflection on any business given how environmentally damaging it is plus the fact that AI continuously steals content from hard-working human artists. I love Homespun and will continue to recommend them on account of my positive experiences as a shopper, but I feel that they and other businesses can do better when it comes to recognizing the harm AI causes.

The front of the store was mostly "direct from china" gift store type stuff. Cheaply made "asian" clothing, light-up wall decor, small bamboo plants, lucky cats, bags, etc. And they were asking a pretty penny for a lot of it, so I wasn't really very impressed. Until I got to the back of the store. Hellooooo Asian groceries! Curry, pocky, soba noodles, plenty of soy sauce, frozen items. It's not an extensive Asian grocery even in Knoxville terms, but it is probably the only place in the Alcoa/Maryville area that sells panang curry paste. So if you're in need of any Asian groceries and don't want to drive to Sunrise, or if you're just feeling adventurous, definitely check this place out.
