We, and many others, paid Backyard Workrooms a lot of money for their product. We were given several reassurances from Mr. Benavides, personally, that all was well with our project. The lot of us is now part of a class-action lawsuit against Backyard Workrooms because they filed for bankruptcy prior to making the product we purchased, and thus STOLE OUR MONEY. Initially, according to Mr. Benavides, it was a chapter 11 bankruptcy so nothing should change (we all would still receive the product we paid for). Then, possibly because the alleged buyer realized what kind of person Mr. Benavides is, the buyer asked for delays, then backed out of the sale. Backyard Workrooms is now (07-10-2023) considering converting the Chapter 11 bankruptcy to a Chapter 7 bankruptcy. This means that every member of our class-action lawsuit will likely get exactly nothing but attorney's fees. Perhaps Mr. Benavides is a decent human; I cannot know. I know only what I've written, which implies the exact opposite. I have learned from experience not to believe anything Mr. Benavides claims.

The team works with your schedule and doesn't seem to bombard you with spam because they trust in their work/reputation. Build was over in one day. Painting was over in a few hours. Prices were competitive and it looked like the quality was better than the Home Depot/Lowes parking lot samples. The owner, Kevin, was very helpful when he came out to measure placement within our property and answered all of our questions and concerns. We had several features we wanted to customize so this was not a standard "out of the box" build. An antique door and window from Craigs List and window panels from Lowes were no problem or added expense for his crew to put in to our specifications. All was done within one day. This summer when our falling apart fence needed to be replaced we checked with several other companies and DFW Shed & Fence. Pricing was all within the same range. Again, Kevin came out to measure and answer all questions and gave us options so we felt confident in using him again to build our new fence. The two man crew was quick and efficient with the tear down and stayed late that day to complete the new construction and clean up. Kevin also showed up that day to check on the work being done. In a few weeks after drying out, we will stain it ourselves. We are very please with the results for both the studio shed build and fence construction. A five star rating and we would use them again without hesitation.

The front door greeter was friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, after that initial greeting, no one asked if I needed help during my time in the store. When I checked out, the cashier, Janet, was noticeably unfriendly and seemed bothered by my presence. Her attitude made the experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Because of the service alone, I will intentionally drive out of my way to shop at a different location in the future. I enjoy the products, but customer service matters, and I don't want to shop somewhere I feel unwanted.

Brandy and Jolie were great in assisting me while I was making my purchases. I bought more than what I could carry in the store, so they helped me by putting the candles by the register. This location is very clean, and it seems larger than the Firewheel location. In any event, the customer service here far exceeds the Firewheel location. I'd rather drive a little farther and be treated as a valued customer. There is plenty of parking available.
