Fortunately, Motomaxx was able to get me in the next day and is conveniently close to the dealership where the car was. They also charged far less than some other nearby places. I came with a book, prepared to wait a while. They have a small lounge area, but the seating is comfortable and there is a tiny fireplace, nice to have on a cold rainy day, I was almost disappointed they finished with the car so quickly! They said that was partly because it was in such good shape that there wasn't a lot to investigate, so very good news. The other thing I noticed was that I was treated with respect and given a rundown of the results. This has not always been my experience as an older female at other places. If I lived in this area , I would probably become a regular.

After meeting with the manager Chris and having him go over the details in depth, I felt confident choosing Mr. T's. After my insurance adjust told me the damage was close to $12,000, I was very nervous but Mr. T's did an excellent job and Chris the manager called me to update me constantly and let me know where things were at and made the whole process super easy. They handled the paperwork, paid cash on the spot, and made getting rid of my car much simpler than I expected. I called several towing companies looking for a rough estimate and some guidance on getting rid of my 2010 Toyota Corolla. Since I wasn't familiar with the process, I had a lot of questions, but most places seemed uninterested and weren't very helpful. I found Sell A Junker through Google, called, and spoke to (if I remember correctly) Riley, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain how everything worked, from the assessment and towing to the title transfer and payment. He made the whole process easy to understand. They made everything pretty simple. We set up a time that worked for both of us, they came out to my car in South Minneapolis, looked it over, handled the paperwork, and paid me on the spot. They're based in Maple Grove, but coming out wasn't an issue at all. Communication was great throughout the whole process, and everything went smoothly. I was helped by Seth who was amazing as well, showed up right on time and was super kind and explained everything thoroughly and what he was willing to offer based on its condition.
