If I could give 10 Stars I would.. Wait. ********** There, I did it! She deserves it all. There is no better way to get the ""Behind the Music" version of New Orleans than Rollin' with the Cajun Queen. I found her randomly as I needed a quick ride to church. She drovd me to mass at St Augustines, which was amazing and also happened to have the Tomb of the Unknown Slaves. So sad and incredible. She gave me so much in just in that short trip that I KNEW I needed more! I called her up to do a full and extended tour. We went to graveyards, Congo Sq, then over to the WWII museum. On the way, she was stopping and pointing out way deeper tidbits than I could ever hope to read about online. She went so deep on things it blew my mind. She made me fall harder in love with this town and it's people. The Cajun Queen was a gift to me that I'll never forget. She seems to embody everything that I love about this town. Best Tour! See the French quarter and experience all the history from the French to the Spanish to the Americans. The ability to see how the architecture of the city changed with each regime. We heard stories of ghosts, voodoo, vampires, buried gold, made wishes on trees, left offerings and enjoyed some drinks. It was easy, breezy soaking up the sun on this 2 hour + tour. What a difference! I've lived in NOLA and just now realizing how little I appreciated the city. The woman who runs this business is a gem. I feel like I hit the jackpot after going on one of her tours. Her information is intellectual yet relatable for a wide variety of audiences.
