Very average overall. The combination sauce had a weird flavor and paled in comparison to that of other seafood boil restaurants around town, and the seafood quality itself was average. Prices were definitely on the lower end. I got the combination 1 that included crab legs, shrimp, corn, potato, egg, and sausage, and it was only $30-something dollars, so seems like they are focusing on that as the main value prop. We would've rather paid for more better flavor and quality. Sides, however, were pretty good. We got hush puppies, lemon pepper fries, sweet potato fries, and edamame, which were all solid. This is my second time coming here and I can honestly say I really enjoy it. The atmosphere is great, it's close to home, and the prices are very reasonable. I also love sitting by the window and being able to look out at Exploration Park--it just adds to the whole experience. I usually order combo #1 (no crab legs), which comes with a cluster, 1/2 lb shrimp, corn, potatoes, a boiled egg, and three sausages. It's one of my go-to meals and always hits the spot. Just an honest opinion here -- the service was great, but the flavor really missed the mark for me. The calamari was actually pretty good, but the Cajun wings were not good at all. We ordered the Combo 2, which comes with a lobster tail, 1/2 lb of shrimp, and snow crab. Unfortunately, the sauce was very disappointing. I got a medium spice level, and heads up for people who can tolerate heat: you'll want the hotter level. First off, for a fish boil eatery, the place smelled great - nothing fishy here, and everything clean and fresh. The server was honest and efficient - showed up when needed, but unobtrusive, and gave valid recommendations. Everything tasted great! Let me say that up front, nothing too strong or weak, seasoning there but not shouting. Hushpuppies are not common in Vegas, but these were good, like you'd expect from southern home cooking. The calamari was good, well cooked, and larger than expected. Equal parts rings and bodies, for those who care. The fried catfish was large, maybe a little over breaded, but tasty. My companion says the fried oysters were crisp and sweet, and boiling hot! The lobster bisque was tasty but not as creamy as "expected" - more like lobster soup with a bit of cream - just reset your expectations because the taste was there! The gumbo was a soup, like it says on the menu, but again, reset your expectations and order rice if you need it thicker - the flavor was amazing! A little okra would be welcome but some people don't like okra anyway. Put that with the hand shaken fruit teas, and I'll be back again soon! read more

We came on a Saturday and the seafood boil was delicious! We opted for 1 lb shrimp and added on sausages and rice. It was slow when we went so we were quite surprised given the quality of the food. The mild spice was actually a little too spicy for me, but I have a low spice tolerance, so... if you're like me, I'd suggest getting the spice level on the lower end. The actual portions of the ingredients were also huge! Huge shrimp, huge potatoes, huge sausages, so I definitely feel like I got my mother's worth. The service was good, they checked on us about waters and food which we appreciated. The music also wasn't super loud which I really appreciated as I have sensitive ears. I really don't like leaving reviews like this but this was unacceptable. I ordered takeout and got the catfish po boy, fries and calamari. The fries were good and the calamari was good too. When I took the first bite of the catfish po boy I noticed a weird taste. I opened it up and the catfish was pink and mushy on the inside, almost raw looking. It had that raw, metallic taste and it didn't feel safe to eat, so I stopped right away. I'm not someone who complains, but serving fish like that is a big food safety issue. Immediately, I noticed it was harder to communicate with the waitress due to a language barrier plus she spoke very softly (to the point we had trouble understanding her), even though she was younger. I politely interjected and asked if their food was very salty & they said yes. They called the waitress over and complained. A few minutes later they paid only for their drinks and left. My husband tried to continue eating but he just couldn't stomach it. What was really upsetting is that we paid $100 for some of the worst food we've ever tasted. After we left we looked at the Yelp reviews only to read how many food poisoning and bad food reviews there was. However, we noticed some 5 star reviews that didn't seem to be legit. Please beware, the food here is not good and it made me sick. My husband and I ordered the 6pc oysters, fried calamari, the California sushi roll and combos 2 and 3. The seafood altogether tasted frozen, old and overcooked. It was tossed in flavorless sauce and had a dry and rubbery texture, especially the green mussels. The oysters were strangely warm in temperature and not refreshing at all or light tasting as oysters should be. My husband's lobster was overcooked making it tough and was not cleaned properly, it had so much poop and was extremely rubbery and small. He did not eat it. We did not finish our food and tossed more than half away after paying $140+. We didn't have the heart to confront the waitress, as she seemed quite young and was courteous to us. We know it's not her fault but the food here really left a bad taste in our mouth (literally). Also, it seemed like it was just her and one cook operating the whole restaurant, granted when we went it wasn't busy at all. The only things that were remotely okay, were the small clams in combo 3, the California sushi roll and the fried calamari, but even then there are much better places to get a seafood boil. We tried this place because it was right by our house instead of driving to our usual (vikings ayce seafood boil) which is further, but so much more worth it in terms of quality, variety and taste. They have signs around the restaurant saying that if you leave a review or create a 5 second TikTok or Instagram reel, you can be compensated for a free appetizer so long as you show staff before posting. It makes me wonder if the reviews here were for that very reason and not because of the actual quality and taste.
