AKA....Foodapalooza!…read more This would have been a 5 star review had the guys from Grill 'Em All showed up on time. But they didn't, in fact, they showed up about an hour late and took another 45 minutes to prep. So this totally clogged up the Grilled Cheese truck. Luckily, the line at the Nom Nom truck was short enough and my GF was able to order a Pork Banh Mi. The banh mi was great. It was my GF's first time and she fell in love. She had this look in her eye, it was special. There was another burger truck, a cupcake truck and an ice cream truck also on the premises. But it seemed that everyone was here for the Grilled Cheese truck and Grill 'Em All. There was also a jazz band that played beautifully. I think if I wasn't in a hunger daze, I probably would have turned around to find out the name of the band. I'm sorry, I was here for Grill 'Em All. Once the Grill 'Em All truck finally opened, I was disappointed to find out that H-100's and Truffle Oil weren't available. I was so looking forward to the H-100's. So what did I do? I ordered a Behemoth (burger, bacon, and grilled peppers between TWO grilled cheese sandwiches) and a side of Pommes Frites. Watchu know about the Behemoth...

Different trucks every week. 1st week was Grill em' all, Grilled Cheese, Nom Nom, King Kone, and a couple other dessert ones. 2nd week was TapaBoyLA, Ta_Bom, MightyBoba, JoseOMalleys, & NaanStop. Shorter Lines, great variety, lots of grass to sit on, lots of fun Still hard to swallow the prices for these food trucks personally though.

I am still dreaming about their mac n cheese! Not only that, our event sadly fell on one of the worst weather days we have had in Los Angeles in decades and Chawn and his team didn't so much as bat an eyelash. They remained calm, collected and completely dedicated to ensuring we had a great event - rain or shine - tents included! I would be tempted to gatekeep this one, but everyone should enjoy the magic that is SoCal BBQ. The food is outstanding, their presentation is impeccable and the service is NEXT LEVEL!

Pulled pork, pork spare ribs, beef brisket, tri tip bbq chicken, Mac n cheese bbq baked bean, grilled seasoned potatoes and Cole Slaw. Unfortunately, by the time we got there at 8 o'clock they had run out of baked beans and we did not want coleslaw. They said they could double up on the mac & cheese due to no baked beans. Couple of high school Friends that started 2 years ago, I believe. Super cool dudes. Very grateful for us as customers. Hubby gave him $60 so they had a $10 tip. We love Supporting local businesses. Pulled pork 5/5 So soft! Juicy as well! Loved it! Pork ribs 4/5 That rub was amazing!! A tad bit hard to chew tho Mac n cheese 5/5 So cheesy and gooey! Loved it! Roasted potatoes 2/5 Some were burnt and way too much seasoning on them. Salty Overall, I enjoyed the food. Will Be back for pulled pork and Mac n cheese! The area is shabby and there are homeless, and street types everywhere plus parking is a hassle with a security company who won't allow people to park in what looks like a 711 parking area. Overall just go somewhere else. Don't waste $27 on a complete waste of food.

I don't speak Spanish so I had to use AI to translate the menu for me. lol . I also asked the lady in front of me to recommend their favorites. I ordered beef head, beef tongue, pork, and grilled beef. I never tried beef head, it was recommended by the lady in front of me. I think beef head is just okay for my personal taste. But the beef tongue was pretty good. The best was the pork (Pastor). Asada was pretty good too. However, their salsa is toooo spicy for me. I am sure it's very authentic. But I only can eat very mild. The tacos were $2 each. It's a small taco but with lots of meat! I ordered four tacos and it was definitely fulfilling. But I am not one that eats a lot. So you might need more tacos if you have a big appetite. The ambience is a street taco vendor. They don't really speak English. So I tried to speak Spanish to order and it was a success! I would definitely come back!
