We looked at alternate and more responsive brokers that could sell with Traveler's and Nick's reviews caught our attention. After one phone call, I knew this is who I wanted to do business with. He has since helped guide me on some home insurance claim questions that ended up being really good advice. A friend shared a cautionary tale of what happened to her as a result of a similar circumstance and I told her similar happened with us but we didn't have same fallout with our insurance because we took Nick's advice. We successfully renewed our home policy a second year, where if we had stayed with our previous broker we would have been dropped a year prior. We are so thankful we found Nick. He is incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and thorough. I wholeheartedly recommend!

Nick didn't just shop quotes, he worked directly with underwriters to make the case that our home is materially lower risk based on our exact location and the property's characteristics. The result was an excellent policy when "no" was the only answer we were getting elsewhere. Beyond the outcome, Nick is great to work with. He consistently makes time to walk through options, explain tradeoffs, and help you make a decision you actually understand. If you want someone who will advocate for you and won't phone it in, I'd recommend Nick without hesitation.

I had to change insurance companies and get Landlord's fire insurance to do short term vacation…read morerentals. I am in a high risk brush fire zone 6, that no insurance company wants to insure in, especially with all the tremendous losses that "burnt them" in Calif. Well I set Yelp filters on "highest rated' first and Lutz Insurance came up. I wanted to talk to one of the people mentioned in the great reviews about them, and asked for those particular names. But this lady named Jennifer Patrishkoff (her name was not in any of the reviews) answered at Lutz Insurance, so I rather reluctantly told her of my insurance needs. Jennifer did GREAT for me. In a couple of days, she found me a fire insurance landlord's policy for only $1007 for $687,000 building coverage $5000 deductible, that is OK with AirBnB. I am paying $520 now for landlord policy $2500 deductible (WHICH IS SUPER CHEAP!) for $515,000 building coverage. My earthquake insurance sent me a dump letter (just before the Ridgecrest earthquake happened) because their reinsurance could only insure for 75% of the 100% of rebuild value. You know, California houses are soooo expensive, and there were sooooo many devastating fires, that insurance companies "get burnt", insuring them. So Jennifer found me earthquake insurance for same $687,000 building coverage as the landlord policy, with 15% deductible, and $10,000 personal belongings (I don't have much since this is a rental house, not my home) for $271, which is about the same as I was paying for before, because building coverage is more that the outgoing earthquake insurance. Get your insurance quotes from Jennifer. See if she can beat your current house and car insurance, too. She is the only agent who came through for me on a very difficult to insure house, out of the 5 brokers or so I contacted through Yelp. Like one guy did find me landlord vacation rental insurer willing to insure my high fire risk, but costs $3300 for same policy coverage as what Jennifer found me for $1007. And she did it real fast, too, against great odds. If your house is in high fire risk zone (above 3 or 4) you may not want to move from your present company, because they likely won't take you back if something happens with the company you move to. They only keep you if you are already a client, but won't take you back if you leave, cos you no longer fit into their underwriting parameters. Make sure you also read the 5 "Not recommended reviews" in a link at the bottom left of the first page. Ask Jennifer to give you quotes for your home and car insurance, too. She could not beat my Scottsdale house and car insurance, tho, like only found quotes for double the premium, in fact the auto was more than twice what I am paying now. But it PAYS TO SHOP!

When it was time for renewal, multiple emails were sent and calls were made requesting immediate help and no contact was made. Her assistant called a few weeks later asking how everything was going and I informed her of my experience and how disappointed I was. I requested that Sara contact me and nothing happened. When the renewal was up again we got a new company and called Sara and canceled the plan and told them what was going and how disappointed we were with the service we received. They canceled the plan and then a couple of days later her assistant called me and asked me if I wanted to get Life Insurance. After informing her of my previous experience multiple times, I can't believe that she called after canceling the plan to ask if I wanted a different plan. Finally after canceling the plan Sara made it a point to contact me. Maybe if she had made an effort when I had sent multiple emails over multiple years asking for assistance she could have kept my business. I would NOT recommend Sara at all if you're planning to keep your policy for more than a year.

We had just recently retired and we felt that our "traditional financial planner" was not meeting our needs. We met with Taylor and Tyler, and to say we were BLOWN AWAY is not strong enough! These guys have Retirement Planning dialed in!! They were very thorough, asked the right questions and came through with a complete financial plan that was easy to understand and covered many things we had yet to think about. They showed us how Roth conversions could make a huge difference in our lifetime tax bill. They uncovered the (often mysterious ) fees we were paying within our various accounts and helped us simplify the assets to make them more manageable. For MANY years we paid our advisor but did not feel we were receiving what we needed. We couldn't articulate what we were missing because you don't know what you don't know!! Taylor and Tyler turned the lights on for us and we are very grateful. I also must mention that their office manager, Karen, is WONDERFUL too! She is professional, kind, proactive, and wonderful at detail and follow-up - she plays a critical part! These are ALL-STARS, and if you are seeking a team for your financial planning needs - look no further!!
