He let us know ahead of time that he may have to refund us what we had paid for a second shooter, but he never gave up trying to find someone and he got someone the week of the wedding. Joe wasn't. Anti-discrimination laws in NY don't apply to photography (or at least, not to our situation). Not that we wanted someone uncomfortable working with us there for the whole day, anyway. So I guess it depends: If you are LGBTQ or an ally, this is definitely not the business for you. If same-sex marriage doesn't matter to you, or offends you, then Joe's your guy!
