The flourless chocolate cake was hands down the most delicious version I've ever had, made with the silkiest chocolate and infused with orange flavor. I typically get a kilo (what can I say?) of cookies and a brownie and spend around 15 euro. The women are friendly and understand enough English to allow you to pick out your own cookies that they pack up for you. It was big shank with a quarter inch of slimy hide wrapped around it. Once we pried the skin off with our butter knife (no steak knives given) what lay beneath was a dark pink flesh that seemed reminiscent to what the Donners must have had for dinner in the Sierra-Nevada - except what they ate was probably cooked better and less greasy. The rice and sauerkraut were the best parts of our meal. The wine was good too. The people around us chose flatbread type pizzas and they seemed to love them.
