We ate at this small Cafe since it was close to our hotel. The small outdoor seating was intimate. The service was prompt and friendly and the food was very good. Highly recommend. read more

Hi, how can I help you?…read more Me: Do you have free Wifi? No, sorry. But good music and drinks.

The second thing that will bring me back here is the fact that they have Arepas. One of my favourite South American dishes, I was introduced to, by a friend in Australia. Sandwiches are great, good variety in breakfast options. Bagels are more bread like, but very light. The sandwiches all have some sauce/spread, so they are flavorful and not very dry. Definitely one of the better places for good coffee in Munich. My iced coffee drink was just a little sweet, so I would just ask for less syrup next time. Coffee isn't from a machine (which seems to be common in many bakeries). Would highly recommend this cafe!
Very pleasant cafe with lots of English/American/German breakfast options…read more We had a quick breakfast inside the cafe. Seating was plentiful and comfortable - it was easy to order at the counter and then wait for table service. The lattes we ordered were well prepared with a good variety of non-dairy milk options available. We both ordered the King - a breakfast bagel sandwich with eggs and bacon. The bagel was definitely not a bagel but it was a nice crusty roll and it was an enjoyable sandwich. All in all a great place for a low-key cafe experience.

A tasty little place for frühstück…read more Near the train station and tons of hotels, so there are a decent number of English-speaking folks who come in, but the sweet little lady behind the counter doesn't really speak too much English. She was all smiles and happy laughs, though when I tried to speak the 4 words of German that I can muster out. Kleines frühstück = delicious coffee/tea and a yummy roll (semmel) with jam + butter for 3 euros. Or you can go with the grand daddy frühstück and get cheese, meat, an egg, rolls, and coffee/tea and make your own tasty breakfast sandos for around 11 euros. We had to draw her a picture of a fried egg in order to show what kind we wanted though...so come prepared with a pen! Now I know that spiegel = fried ;) Spiegelei ftw - they cooked them to perfection. Whites completely cooked through, but a heavenly gooeyness of a yolk. They have ice cream + pastries as well that look yum yums.

The chai is homemade and DELICIOUS. The cakes are fine specimens of the baking arts...and are DELICIOUS. Panini - DELICIOUS. Coffee - DELICIOUS. They must have some very high quality espresso machines, because the coffee comes out so rich and creamy. It seems that every item in this place is for sale. So if you like your table, or chair, or the whole set, or the dishware, ask the service what it would cost to take it home. However, do not ask the service how much to take them home. I don't think they operate THAT kind of establishment. The bathroom is a journey back to 1913, but in a cute, nostalgic way. You'll see what I mean. The only drawback about this place is the lack of wifi. But hey - maybe it's better to come here to unwind and unplug anyway. That coffee and cake sure deserve your undivided attention...
