We saw a little sign by the Hôtel Mignon advertising Café Mignon. There are a few tables inside, but the place to go on a warm summer morning is around the corner, where there are three little tables in the shaded alley. There were a mother and daughter (I'm guessing) working there. The daughter speaks amazingly good English, and she was the main person we worked with. They offer a complete brunch for €12. This includes salad (lettuce and tomato) with ham and cheese, an egg, a bowl of fruit (apricots were in season), homemade applesauce or yogurt (your choice), pastries, bread and jam. Oh, and also fruit juice and a hot drink (coffee, tea, chocolate). For twelve euros! This was amazing. All of the food was delicious. The atmosphere was perfect - quiet and cool and out of the way. The people were so friendly, and from the way she talked I think the daughter made the applesauce and yogurt herself and was pleased to see us enjoying them so much. We have one more day coming up in Avignon, and I am very tempted to return to Café Mignon. What a lovely place! It lives up to its name.

Located in a rustic town, surrounded by stone buildings and greenery everywhere. Service: spoke only French, nice enough. Relatively quick. Food: I was told my table mate's linguini dishes with full shrimp were delicious, and I can contest to the shrimp. Another table mate and I shared the beef carpaccio and beef tartare. The beef tartare with capers was delicious. I found the carpaccio with pesto and shaved Parmesan was a bit bland in comparison with the carpaccio, and my mate agreed.

We both had omelettes (again I think recommended) - one cheese, one ham. Both very good It's a great place to just relax, eat, take some pictures and enjoy. The town is tiny and worth exploring.

We had a room in the back of the restaurant on the main floor that had a nice view. We were all served the same dish which was a half-roasted game hen, risotto and berry a based desert. The service was good, but the under cooked hen and side food of risotto missed the mark for those at our table of 6. They served a carafe of red and a carafe of white wine which was good and helped us get through the lunch.

The Speculoos cheesecake was lacking in Speculoos taste, but it was rich and a satisfying dessert. The real star was the chai latte milkshake, which was perfect for a hot summer's day. Prices are a tad high, but otherwise solid for drinks to-go.
