We sat down and had ordered when someone different came over and told us the table was reserved. We were then moved to a table clearly made for only two people. There was no signage on the table that it was reserved and the server didn't seem particularly happy we hadn't known this. They ask you not to work there at certain hours (very fair) but it is set up for you to do so! Staff is all multi lingual in French and English, or at least enough to get by, and they even have an English language menu. Don't worry, the food is high quality French and the coffee is superb. Once inside the team of three was bustling about to make sure all the customers were being helped. What stood out to me right away was the Focaccia. It was impressive to see and looked amazingly delicious. It was like a siren, calling to me even though I do not usually eat cheese. The pastrami sandwich also looked good as well. I would have not partaken in consuming it but considering how horrible our experience was with the brasserie on the Vieux Port, I decided on getting that sandwich as a backup for my two accompanying diners. I asked for my order to go and paid. I carried my load of sandwiches like a soccer player who won the World Cup, proud and triumphant. The service was incredible, the flavors were all present, and the prices were affordable. I highly recommend this sandwich shop and skip all brasseries on the Vieux Port.
