The server (sweet and beautifully elegant) spoke petite English (very little) and we spoke petite Francais (very little) but somehow we managed just perfectly! This restaurant was one of our top French meals of our 21 day trip to France (including Paris!). The presentations and flavors were so perfectly harmonized and I four a half bottle of Chateau de la Canorgue (I was the only one drinking wine) too! I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant and don't think it's pretentious, it's quaint, it's friendly, super casual (kids were at the table across the way and were perfectly behaved). There are a lot of great restaurants in Lourmarin, but this is at the top of the stack. This was our last meal before we left the next day so it was a great finale.
