Great meal at this Michelin started restaurant. We joined the lunch service on a weekend in August…read moreand enjoyed the special seafood menu served every August. Seated outside in the lovely courtyard which only had space for 5 or 6 tables, it was a lovely shaded environment. There was a lot of noise coming in from the square outside but this wasn't a problem. Service was lovely with the head chef himself taking orders and serving several dishes. The food itself was very good! Dessert was especially good. The wine pairing was also very nice.

It's has this awesome art loft meets wine cellar vibe with top-notch sidewalk seating (I could watch French people all day!) and a sprawling indoor space too. They are pretty clued into the local art scene and have regular receptions and even some live music on special occassions, I *think*. The owner is just the kind of wine nerd you want to consult with. He's very softspoken and sweet, and knows each wine like it's his beloved child. Only catch is, their liquor license doesn't allow them to sell wine without food, so you're "forced" to eat. I can think of worse things! You'll feel hyper-cool and quasi-local if you drink here. Recommended!

The server (sweet and beautifully elegant) spoke petite English (very little) and we spoke petite Francais (very little) but somehow we managed just perfectly! This restaurant was one of our top French meals of our 21 day trip to France (including Paris!). The presentations and flavors were so perfectly harmonized and I four a half bottle of Chateau de la Canorgue (I was the only one drinking wine) too! I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant and don't think it's pretentious, it's quaint, it's friendly, super casual (kids were at the table across the way and were perfectly behaved). We also loved the grilled mackerel with sorbet on top; who knew that could be done so deliciously! We never had any doubts about the kitchen, so we would try anything and everything they served, and we were never disappointed.
