Strawberry Fields Forever + Iced Ooh La Latte and Hot Pecan Praline
    Ashley V.

Tried this place before heading down from Mammoth. Glad we tried it cause I liked their strawberrry fields forever crepe- could never go wrong with a strawberry nutella crepe! Some places don't include much of the topping, but they included a great amount of strawberries that I loved! As for their drinks, we were able to try an iced vanilla latte, iced white mocha latte, iced ooh la latte, and hot pecan praline. The ooh la latte and pecan praline were both light in taste and didn't have too strong of a coffee taste, which I would have preferred more of. Not much of a wow factor, but I do like that they have house-made whipped cream! I would say the best coffee, from the places I've tried in Mammoth, would be the vanilla latte from The Warming Hut. The set up though has a nice concept and service was decent. Overall, I would recommend this place to satisfy my sweet tooth for the crepes! They also have savory crepe options too, so might also be worth trying next time around.

We finally made it back to Cafe Crepe -- and it was just as amazing as we remembered! The crepes have that perfect chewy texture that works beautifully with both the savory and sweet options. This time I ordered the Double Cream Salmon, and it was absolutely delicious -- generously packed with smoked salmon and full of flavor. The special of the day was Blueberry Pie with a crumble topping. It was super tasty and definitely worth trying, but we all agreed that the special from our first visit, "The Banana Imposter," is still the undefeated champ. The crepe truck is conveniently located right in the heart of the Mammoth Village area, making it the perfect breakfast stop before hitting the slopes. They have available outdoor seating with beautiful views of the mountains and even a little dome with seating for those that prefer to be warm. Everything here is made to order so expect at least a 10 minute wait or more if it's busy, but trust me it will be worth it!

Cute spot in the heart of Mammy. The smoke salmon was not only tasty but also a good size meal before a full day of snowboarding. The lavender latte was also delicious and not too sweet. Not extremely hot so perfect to drink the moment you receive it. Would come back again

Buckwheat crepes here are the best... I hit this place every time I come to Mammoth for hiking and skiing! Chill food truck and reasonably efficient service, what's not to like?

Food truck with outdoor seating AND a wash station. Lots of parking. Sweet and savory crepes available. It was so good, we ordered a strawberry crepe to go for later... but the aroma provided so much therapy in the car- we ate it while driving!!! Service is clear and line well marked for the windows to order and window to receive ordered treasure. Party of flavors for the savory vegan crepe- nutty and textures galore. My friend knifed and forked her crepe. She hummed while eating - meaning it's 5 stars

We've always passed this place while in town and finally decided to stop by on Labor Day. It did not disappoint! The staff was extremely warm and welcoming. The food was DELICIOUS. I loved the outdoor seating because it was dog friendly. Lots of picnic tables with string lights so it probably looks beautiful at night. They even had a dog meal on the menu! We saw so many dogs devour it! They had a note on their truck saying everything is made fresh so be patient. I assume other days get HECTIC. We must've got lucky because ours came out in less than 10min. Pro tip: get whipped cream on the side! It's made in house and tasted AMAZING.

Glad we stopped by this crepe truck on the way back home-- their crepes and especially their specialty drinks are unique and cozy! (love the whipped cream top!!) They have lots of parking and outdoor bench seating, we sat in the dome and played board games inside.

Stopped by this very adorable food truck to grab a crepe and coffee. I got the gourmande and the strawberries and cream latte. There was a whip cream tower so large I had to drink it down to put a lid on, that's a plus. The crepe was the lighter breakfast option I was looking for, but if you're looking for a hearty breakfast I'd order 2. While I didn't order it I also love that they have a dog dish on the menu for the furry friends.

This little crepe truck came in clutch on a brisk fall morning in Mammoth. We stayed at Outbound Mammoth (the hotel that this truck is parked at) and made a to-go order for crepes online. We walked over from our hotel room which made this place very convenient. My husband and I both ordered pumpkin spice lattes and the Complete crepe. The order was ready promptly and I was pleased we ordered ahead because they had a crowd out front! The crepes were beautiful and so tasty. We had no idea how huge they would be and were pleased to have leftovers to eat the next morning on our way out of town! The coffees were huge and served beautifully with artful whip on top. Even if we don't stay at Outbound next time we are in Mammoth, we will return for these mouth watering crepes!

I am stumped on how to review Cafe Crepe, because the food and coffee were excellent, but the service not so much. Cafe Crepe is a cute little food truck in Mammoth CA. Good amount of parking, relatively normal wait time, and an awesome variety of choices on the menu. Very unique menu items, I would've tried a number of things on there. Coffee was a decent price for the location at $6.50 for a specialty latte (much cheaper than Black Velvet Coffee down the road at $9.50 a latte). We got Honey Lavender lattes and a Little Goat crepe. All super delicious- 5 stars on the food itself. The person taking my order, however, was really odd and rude. When we walked up to the kiosk window to order, he didn't really even acknowledge us. He was chatting with some people in the back, which I don't usually mind, so I waited for him to finish his conversation. When the conversation seemed to have ended, I tried saying hello multiple times and he pretty much ignored us- It was like we weren't even there. When he finally answered me, he asked me how we like mammoth. I said "oh it's going great!" Then I started trying to order. I guess he had asked me something else I didn't hear, because I heard him say, "ok then..." and started talking to people in the back again. I said, "I'm sorry, I didn't hear you, what did you say?" And he ignored me again, and just kind of shook his head. It honestly took all of us aback...So much so that my partner decided not to eat here, and to go Starbucks instead. It was unfortunate, considering how great the food was. In my opinion, good food doesn't make up for horrible customer service. I probably wouldn't come back, I'd rather support places that value their customers.

Got breakfast here on a Monday morning. They have a trailer with a small outdoor seating area where you can enjoy the freshly made crepes. We wanted something savory, but also something sweet. We decided on the double cream salmon and the dark side (filled with Nutella) and a cafe latte. Both crepes were great. The salmon one comes with plenty of salmon, some herbs, Creme cheese and crème fraiche. Tasted amazing. Same for the Nutella filled one. Together with their freshly made whipped cream a really nice dessert. Guys in the trailer were also really friendly. You have to wait maybe 5 minutes for your crepe as they are made per order and it's definitely worth the wait. Highly recommended.

Cafe Crepe was a wonderful, quick stop on the way out of Mammoth. I had the cinnamon crepe and Ooh La Latte and it was delicious. Simple and not too sweet which I love. It was a beautiful day to sit outside and enjoy and the people working there are so nice!

This food truck is located at the corner by the place I am staying at. They opened at 0700-1400. I walked here for breakfast. I ordered the oohla latte and the complete crepe. It took them a little while to prepare the crepe as it was made fresh. I was enjoying my coffee during the wait. The coffee was flavorful! It has hazelnuts and pistachio in it. The complete crepe came with ham and egg, and it tasted wonderful! There were table and benches and we could sit at the outdoor area. However, I would rather eat by the fireplace. Staff was friendly, and price is reasonable. Will come back again for sure.

We were really glad to find Stellar Brews. I ordered a chai latte and it honestly may be the best I've ever had in my life -- perfectly spiced, not too sweet, and just really comforting. The service from Carlos was great, too. He wasn't overbearing -- just genuinely kind, generous, and attentive in a low-key way that made the space feel welcoming. If you're deciding between the big coffee chains and this place, skip the chains and come here. We'll definitely be back.

We were on our way out of town around 9:30am and stopped to get coffee and grabbed an everything bagel with eggs and bacon as well as a turkey egg burrito from the grab and go section. The coffee was fine. The bagel was so hard and burnt that I could barely bite into it. I tried a couple of different spots and it was inedible. Whatever the egg puck was inside the bagel was hard and tasteless. The "bacon" was literally stuck to the bagel, I tried to peel it off and eat some but it didn't taste like bacon and was like leather. I'm having a hard time understanding why they would serve this? The burrito was just brought out from the kitchen. We bit into it and it was cold. The tortilla tasted fake. Again, why put this out there to purchase. Had we not been in a time crunch we would have turned around to show them what they gave us and request a refund. I've never thrown out food before but these were inedible. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 as the cashier was very friendly.

There was lemon water to drink which was nice. Not so positive: Everything we got was dry and honestly, not that good. The scone was dry, the shortbread was dry, the bottom of my daughter's cookie was burned. Like pretty black. Maybe it was supposed to be that way? My wife wanted an espresso but the lady behind the counter explained they only had drip coffee. Our daughter asked the same lady if there was a cupcake available, and she said "nope, what you see is what you get." Nothing wrong with what she answered but her tone seemed like she was really annoyed by the question. My wife just wanted to leave but felt like it would be rude to leave without buying things and we like to generally support local businesses. Side note: We ended up going to Schatts bakery a half mile away later that day and had a way better experience with far better tasting baked goods. We wish East side luck but we won't be back.
