Every single time there is a different pastry to try (or so it seems), along with cakes, sausage rolls (normal or spicy), chocolate, macrons (so many varieties - my favourite being salted caramel) and the most amazing different kinds of bread. Everything he sells is made the morning before the bakery opens and there is a limited amount. Once it's sold out its sold out! There are a few small tables and a sofa and it can get quite busy at the weekends. The guy who runs the place is very nice, as is all the staff. We love to sit down, order food and drinks, relax then take home tons of stuff to eat throughout the day! X

But for me the croissants and pain au chocolat with my coffee are the highlights as they are all as fresh as fresh can be... Not to mention the fruit smoothies are a real quencher on a hot day! As for the price, it's damn reasonable, bearing in mind the quality... Don't forget, they serve Torelli coffee here (the best coffee in town)! As for the earlier review, I have seen lots of children in the place and I have brought my own 5 and 8 year old boys into Scallywags and they love the place. I can however fully understand why a person who allows their children to run around and have tantrums would not be so welcome, I would be annoyed by this as another paying customer.
