After arriving in Terminal 2 to pick a few friends up from their vacation in Atlanta, I decided to call in here for a coffee, with it being one of the better places in Terminal 2 to have a drink, and being in Arrivals meaning it is a nice place to call in after getting off a flight, before setting off back home without having to go through security all over again.
This is probably one of the only places you can go for a drink in Terminal 2 arrivals, right next to a large Spar store.
It was quite a nice store and seemed to be a typical Caffe Nero, I ordered a CaramelLatte.
The quality of my latte was quite nice, this is a specialty at Caffe Nero which is a latte with caramel syrup and cream and a caramel drizzle on top, it wasn't too sweet either and was quite a nice drink.
The coffee tasted good quality and is defiantly up there with Starbucks as one of my favourite coffee shops.
Overall, this place doesn't really have competition but it still does well, which is admirable as it could get away with having a lower quality, being not much else in that area of the Airport, but they still try to maintain a high standard, which is good and helps match Caffe Nero's brand standards, and this place deserves a solid 3 star rating, I can't really do any higher because they seemed a little slow in dealing with queues for an Airport branch and a lack of gluten free foods available. read more
