Overall, the service had no warmth or was tepid at best. To top it all, we were told "Next time,…read moreonly come here if you're ordering food," before we left. This is despite asking up front if it was ok to just sit for coffee. Well sir, wish granted! Better yet, not coming back at all. I do have one cardinal rule of travel that I follow for a reason (but somehow forgot about and broke for this one): it is to avoid restaurants with pictures in the menu (or people outside trying to funnel you in). This was one of them.

They have wonderful aperol spritz and if you stop in for a drink in the afternoon they will provide some bruschette with pizza like toppings, and some chips. The pizza is delicious here and I would highly recommend their lasagna. The gelato is crazy in this town. They pile it high on your cone, but this restaurant gives you a normal serving size and it's perfect. Not to much, but amazing taste. I have no problem eating here each time I'm Sirmione.

This pasticceria has been around since 1880! There is plenty of seating both upstairs and downstairs, and you can stand by the counter if you just want to have a quick coffee and pastry. There is a bathroom located upstairs and is kept in good condition. We came here in the morning to order some espressos and a few pastries. I'm a pistachio lover and the "Rocher pistacchio" was my favorite. They also serve slices of a variety of different cakes, including pistachio, lemon, and chocolate. With so many pastries, you simply must come back and try them all. I gladly give this venue five stars out of five.
