The spaghetti carbonara, a seemingly simple and staple italian food, was barely edible. We're fairly certain it was produced from a can, and the "pancetta" served with it was quite literally, microwaved pieces of ham. To put it into perspective, the carbonara sauce was yellow. Not like yellowish, not a dark shade of white, like kraft dinner yellow. I think id rather eat cardboard than another order off this menu. If you value your current respect for italian food, run the other direction because I may have PTSD after this total disaster of an experience. Hugo spritz was ok, hence the 1 star.

The friendly, young waitress spoke very good English and was helpful in working out how we like our coffee so we visited daily for our fix. They were very patient and understanding of the fact that our group of cousins and spouses did not speak Italian. We went back several days in a row because of the fantastic service and delicious morning beverages!
