Came to this place prior to the David Gilmour concert. We sat outside with the other Veronians. Locals liked to hang out here to have drinks before dinner. Overall, the food was pretty good. However, the glasses, plates and utensils were dirty. Not sure if that's an Italian thing.

If you are looking for a perfect cappuccino, latte or espresso this is the place!!! Very good selection of croissant and breakfast pastry. Nice atmosphere and very good service. I like to go there especially on monday morning when it is less crowded and most of the customers are local. It's a little pricey but it is worth it.

    Great cocktails and snacks!

Terrible service and misleading menu. Terrible attitude towards tourists. The food is even worst than that.

We thought it opened at 5:00, and we got there about 5:50, super early for Italy. The door was open but no one was there except the chef, who turned out to be the owner. He said it didn't open until 7:00! But he took us anyway, and he was absolutely the most charming man EVER. So sweet, so accommodating, so kind. He told us the story of his restaurant and that he's the fourth generation to run a restaurant there. We ordered excellent wine by the glass, including amarone, the double fermented local speciality. Then we had pumpkin soup, and it was the most delicious we'd ever had, really special, with a depth of flavor that seemed unusual. After that, we had spinach ravioli, which were fat little homemade pillows, amazingly delicious, with a sauce of halved grape tomatoes lightly sautéed in olive oil. So fresh! Then we had rack of pork, which was presented as two thin chops beautifully browned, but very tender, and served with lightly sautéed mixed vegetables (those were good, but not great -- I can forgive that!). Finally, we had dessert. I got the deconstructed Napoleon another reviewer recommended. It was so cutely presented, and tasty. Husband got "mini-dessert" -- two small puff pastry "donuts." Believe it or not, we went back for breakfast because we really wanted something filling, and they serve more than the typical pastries. I had yogurt with muesli and fruit (so tart i had to add a pack of sugar!) and husband ordered ham and cheese omelet, which came with bread. Both were nicely done and hit the spot. We just LOVED this place. You can't go wrong there! On top of excellent food, the service is friendly and efficient (everyone there was so, so nice). The waitress was just as nice as the owner.

Watching the gentleman carefully slice them fold the prosciutto into the panini was mesmerizing. High dedication to quality that's palpable in all they do. Great breakfast though few options along with fresh paritaires, lunch and dinner. We had omelettes off the menu, panino piccolo with prosciutto and butter was delicious, coffee was "the best I've had in Italy" according to the husband, had the orange cinnamon loose tea (largest tea options I've found), fresh squeeze orange juice along with impressive pressed juices (my pineapple, apple, orange and ginger was soooo good). Thankfully the rain gave me some time to remain here and attempt to give the experience justice.

This was one of our favorite spots, recommended by our food tour guide Francesca. We liked it so…read moremuch, we went twice (practically unheard of when we travel, we like to experience as much as possible in our time in a city.) On our first visit, we wanted a full lunch, so even though the cicchetti on display at the front of the store looked alluring and delightful, we asked for a table inside, which we were promptly given. We were all set to order a bottle of wine, but my husband spied "Verona Spritz" on the menu and we quickly pivoted. For my main, I went with their bigoli cacio e pepe and my husband ordered the pappardelle ragu. The Verona Spritz was surprising - crisp but warm, with an herby undertone from the (giant) sprig of fresh mint. The bigoli was perfectly cooked (I have a fondness for thick, chewy noodles) and the sauce was creamy without being too cloying or thick. My husband absolutely loved his pappardelle pasta, with the meatiness and cheesiness and overall flavors merging into a flavor explosion in his face. We were admittedly a bit bummed we weren't able to sample the cicchetti, so of course we went back for a second visit. On that visit we ordered the cicchetti and wine pairing, which was a great deal and so SO tasty. We were served six cicchetti each, and had three wines paired per two cicchetti. The staff did a great job of keeping an eye on us, only stopping by to pour the next bottle when we were ready to move on to the next bite. Each wine was delicious and easy to drink. They did serve two whites and a red; I'm not typically a white wine fan but these were incredible - to the point where I took pictures just in case i can find them locally (or get them imported.) We highly recommend this spot for either a full meal or cicchetti and wine. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming - they had a lot of locals coming in and out both times we were there - and the amount of food you get for the price you pay is a deal.

They had various meats including sopresseta and prosciutto, as well as veggie options and salmon lox. We also ordered the Farfalle and pumpkin squash with crunchy onions. The atmosphere is wonderful. Verona is a beautiful city to visit and this meal was great. They did have traditional dishes here like the risotto with red wine and other gamey dishes.
