So we get off our cruise and we have over an hour before our tour bus around La Coruna starts. We met a couple getting our tickets for the bus and she mentions that she wants a local pastry and coffee and the tour guide suggest going to this place. I had already had breakfast so I decided not to have anything but tasted my wife's cale con leche [coffee with milk]. The coffee here is the size of an espresso and the coffee with steamed milk is not much bigger but oh my lord was it good.
I decide I need to get back so after our tour my wife and I come back. It's now a new person behind the counter as the girl that made the original coffee has since left. But no worries, the guy making this round of coffees comes out just as good. As a person who once owned my own coffee house I can HONESTLY say that this is the best latte I have ever had, no hyperbole.
For three coffees, one with milk it was less than 5 Euro's. I hope I get to come back some day, this was a great city to visit and loved this cafe tucked in the corner behind the market. read more
